2025 Family Trip

The property was well located for seeing all in the Berkshires. We reserved 2 houses and the other property was our main location, so I only visited this property on check-in. I was told the beds may be in need of replacement. Otherwise, it worked great for us.

family getaway in the Berkshires

The estate has been lived in. It has a cool, antique vibe but lacks the modern comfort for the price. The house is spacious, most of the furniture is old like the house. (I sat in a kitchen chair and down I went to the floor). The welcome document is very outdated - it refers to the oven and how to use it, however, the current one is totally different. The brand new outdoor pool, looks like it has aged about 15 years. The upstairs toilet flusher did not work so we had to take the back cover of the tank and pull the lever by hand. This place needs a little TLC

Lovely horse farm in the woods but not too far from useful shops. We had a great experience.

Good not Great

House was terrific in terms of space and the location was perfect. Only complaints is the kitchen was difficult to use with a large group. The only oven was too small for an average sized sheet pan. We would have used thd BbQ but that was left dirty and not ready for use.

Family Vacation

The country setting provided a quiet retreat. The home is well equipped: plenty of beds, multiple gathering places, pool with towels (although it was pretty cold until the pool guy came and provided help). The outdoor grill provides additional cooking space. The home is within easy driving to many places of interest. We had a nice week at this home.

Family vacation

We had a great time on our vacation. The home was beautiful and spacious and easy access to hiking and shopping. We enjoyed a concert at nearby Tanglewood as well!

Great place!

This house is very nice. We stayed 3 nights. The house was very clean, private, with beautiful bathrooms and lots of space. Our family of 5 and our dog enjoyed each day. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful property for an amazing weekend stay

The pictures simply do not do this place justice, it’s an incredible home. Our friend group was cozy all weekend! We loved the hot tub/pool, the really interesting artwork, the driving range mat and basketball hoop. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. The in law apartment (which we didn’t use as sadly part of our group was unable to join us) is attached to the main home and is so cute. We had a small issue upon arrival and the hosts were immediately responsive with us troubleshooting and ultimately helped solve our issue. We didn’t want to go home and already are considering another visit. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Perfect Winter Adventure

We had the best time with our family at this property. It was secluded, but close to plenty of great things for us to do which made it the perfect winter adventure for our Christmas vacation. The host was very responsive and helped us out when some issues came up.

Great house for group getaway!

We had 5 couples stay this weekend for a getaway weekend in the Berkshire's. The place was perfect! Kitchen was stocked with anything we needed while cooking, plenty of places to gather or get some alone time, and the pool was awesome! We would definitely stay there again in the future.

A great family retreat

We had a wonderful stay. The house is very roomy with really interesting pieces of art in it.. the only bad thing was we were not able to connect to the pool until Sunday morning basically when everyone was leaving. It would be my recommendation to have a device in the house that will run the pool. We tried several different cell phones in several different apps. It turned out to be the original access code that was given to us was wrong.. The manager finally came up with the right access code. So three of us that stay till Monday actually got to enjoy the pool., Once it was working, it was wonderful.

Great house for weekend retreat

House had everything a big group would need, including multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to spread out. Large property felt very secluded-most of our group didn’t leave all weekend.

Picturesque Perfection

My family, ages 1-91, had a Hallmark perfect Christmas weekend. With 12 people everyone had enough space throughout the home but we were also comfortable gathering together in the kitchen, dining room and living areas. We greatly appreciated all of the wonderfully curated art “moments” throughout the home which were interesting and still inviting. The heated pool was fabulous, especially in the snow! We were very comfortable with our children in the home. Beds were wonderful and towels and linens were of high quality. The kitchen oven is small but we were able to cook a full Christmas roast between the kitchen oven and in-law oven. Hosts were very communicative. We are so grateful for this beautiful and inviting retreat and hope to book it again in the future!

Luxury in the Berkshires

Overall our group was both pleased and impressed with the rental. The house easily accommodated our group, consisting of six adults and a pet. The location was splendid, close to restaurants in nearby Great Barrington and hiking trails in the Berkshires. The house fronts a cul-de-sac, Shun Toll Road, that allows for further leisurely walks in the countryside as well as the nearest country store selling the paper and basic provisions. The only disappointment, which wasn't serious, was that oven or micro-wave had been cleaned to the degree that its settings were illegible. Other than this, the house was in excellent condition, and any issues were promptly addressed by the host. Definitely would consider renting this house again.
