"We loved this place so much we decided to stay another 2 nights Originally we had a share kitchen experience The views are spectacular & our room was perfect! Sadly it was booked for the next 2 nights so we luckily got an apartment on the same property. It’s self contained & seperate from the other rooms Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Atherton "

"Needed a night tottally alone after my last house petsit and before my regular job with kids and as a loca, i reside with my elderly mum in between i had l never been, just perfect and will definitely be my local overnight getaway, hospitality, staff go above and beyond and such positive energy, thankyou"

"Hemos pasado unos días súper relajados, con una atención magnífica y personal del propio dueño del Mail Tai, que incluso a excedido lo esperable al resolvernos cuando nos íbamos un imprevisto que pudo haber sido muy desagradable en nuestro viaje con una eficiencia y buena voluntad que no tenemos palabras adecuadas para agradecer. "Property was very cosy and in a nice quiet area close by a bus stop but even just walking around was fine as well. Bronwyn and Howie were lovely hosts. I would stay again if I ever travel up to Cairns in the future."

"We came back to this property as we found it such a lovely place to stay. The owner is very welcoming, the property is clean, comfortable and quiet. It is also quite centrally located; Cairns is about 20 minutes, the Atherton tablelands about an hour and the daintree about an hour and a half away- all easy day trips. There is also a nice walk along the river at the back of the property. The airport is only 18 minutes away, which we found very convenient at the end of our stay. Thanks for having...

"Our stay here was pleasant . Good pressure from the shower , the aircon was perfect as the temperatures often reached mid/high 20s outside . The owners were lovely people and very accommodating to our requests etc . Within 5 minutes walk to eateries and convenience stores . If you are wanting a ground floor unit then please directly call the Hotel in person as this is the best way to make sure your requests will be heard . Laundry is $3 au for a wash and $3 for a dry .
