"My stay was perfect, the room was clean, comfortable and little touches like a coffee machine, complementary water in the fridge was great. The shower, a walk in was amazing. Had evening dinner the food was delicious and service quick and lovely staff serving. The English breakfast was filing and perfectly cooked. We were there for a funeral, and the hotel was hosting the wake, very happy with the hospitality of the staff. Plenty of parking, would love to return. Well done everyone"

"This was by far one of the best inn rooms I have slept in for years. The bed was big and comfortable with a great mattress topper, two big wide windows for air. There was both a bath and a shower and both were clean. Tv and great coffee machine with plenty of milk and sugar with milk alternatives if needed. "We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."

"The Owners and staff were lovely, Lynn was so helpful and went out of her way. Lynn, Ruby and the handsome Joe was a delight to talk to. Very welcoming and up for a chat, great company when feeling lonely or just want to socialize. The bedroom felt relaxing and the curtians were great at keeping out the cold. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The place is within a walking distance from the train station about a minute at most. Food is not allowed in the bedrooms just as a heads up and...

"The room itself was very nice, and the host was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived, it felt as though the property was closed, which was a little strange. Unfortunately, there was no hot water both in the evening and the following morning, which we reported to the host on departure. Had we been staying longer, I’m confident the host would have tried to resolve this. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress would benefit from an upgrade or the addition of a topper.
