Both employees I spoke with during check-in were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful! The rooms are beautiful and have everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Although I only stayed for one night and didn’t get the chance to experience all the amenities, everything on the property appeared to be well-maintained, with so many activities to enjoy! I genuinely wish my stay had been longer, and I hope to return someday to fully experience everything this wonderful place has to offer!

We absolutely enjoyed our overnight at this charming and quaint motel. We loved the hot tub and sauna. The grounds were so peaceful. Lots of adorable and thoughtful touches in our room too! The staff was incredibly helpful during check in. We will be back and recommending it to everyone traveling in this area.

Very quaint and nicely remodeled. Unfortunately, it was rainy so I didn’t get to experience all the outdoor areas that looked very nice.

Honestly, I was here for the reasonable rate. My expectations were low. BUT- if I were near Grayling again, I would go out of my way to stay here. Spotlessly clean, plenty of towels, soft sheets, QUIET! Beautifully renovated but still feels like a vintage time capsule 1940s motor court.

The Windmoor was so cute! The amenities here were incredible too. It was easy to find, access, and had everything we needed. The only thing that kept it from a 5* rating was the amount of earwig bugs we had to kill upon arrival (no exaggeration, 30+). I'm sure they'll fix this though. Beyond that, it was a perfect place to stay, and would highly recommend staying there!

It was the off season apparently as I was one of the only guests, if not THE only one. The room was nice. In the morning, I was cooked a fresh hot breakfast since they weren’t having the buffet due to so few guests. It was great! I only stayed for one night as I was just passing through, but everything was wonderful!

We were surprised to see a room full of earwigs - probably 30+ had to be killed upon our arrival. I think the team just needs to spray the perimeter with some bug spray, and then the place would be perfect! Room was nicely updated and comfortable for our family of four.

We loved the retro vibe and clean space. Self-check-in and communication with the hosts were simple and friendly. We were in town for a wedding, so we fought over the single small mirror getting ready, but overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hot Tub was a good temperature (despite outside air temp being only 8 degrees). Pathway to hot tub was nicely clear despite the snow and ice in the area. Clean room. Comfortable bed. WIFI worked great.

If youre not a people person this place is perfect. Never had to talk to anyone. Lol! It was very nice and clean and peaceful. Had a cool vibe to it, being a modernized old school motel. Id definitely stay again.

Perfect Place

Staff was very helpful & friendly. I had My Mom 89 years old you just walked right into the room very clean and it had a beautiful back yard with some paths. Picnic tables hot tub & sauna . It was very easy for her to get around with her walker. We will be back. Also dog friendly. I wish i would've taken pictures.
