We really enjoyed our stay at the quirky dome house Unforgettable. It's a beautiful peaceful location overlooking a pond with 2 fire pits and marked hiking trails right on the property. This was perfect to take the dog for a stroll each morning. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the water so we had to be moved halfway thru the trip. However, the owner and rental company were very responsive and made the move seamless. The 2nd cabin was equally as beautiful and well-kept. Definitely recommend this unique cabin and Carolina Mountain Vacation Rentals.

Really fun and beautiful place. The Christmas decor was so thoughtfully placed and you can tell someone put a whole lot of effort making it cozy and beautiful! We didn't need anything. They had extra of everything! We definitely heard the squirrels at night, but we turned on a box fan to drown out the noise and we slept great in the super comfortable beds. Water pressure wasn't the best, and the dishes weren't super clean, but we ran them in the dishwasher and they were fine.Overall a really beautiful and quiet place to stay. Our 3 preteens LOVED it!!! Memories to last a lifetime!

The seclusion can't be beat back in the woods quiet very relaxing it was cold so we didn't experience the hiking trails and pond but they looked amazing we will be staying again

We loved our stay at this cool dome cabin! The property was very private, and we loved taking the dogs for a walk on the trails. West Jefferson was a short drive away for shops and dining. Thank you!

The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience.

Everything you would expect plus more!

This dome house is enchanting! And it's in a serene natural location perfect for relaxing and nature-bathing. The hosts provided everything we needed including little touches like walking sticks and a makeup mirror. The beds and linens are very comfy and the home is beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this unique home for those who love outdoor adventures and indoor coziness.

This place is amazing!!! It is so unique and cool! The trails on the property are also very nice. All the seating outside was also very handy, we ate dinner and lunch outside everyday we stayed. The drive is a little steep, but totally doable. If you are on the fence about booking this place this is a little nudge to do it!!! You won’t regret it!

This is a perfect place for an awesome getaway! Nestled in the country, private in everyway. A super plus if you have a pet, lots of areas to exercise and let your muppy's run free! The home is equipped everything you need. The observatory is a extra added bonus. Beds were clean and we loved the music that was playing when we arrived. There were some cobwebs and also the dishes in the cabinets could use a good washing. There is a great place 1.9 miles down the road for food, veteran owned:) Bonus Hot tub makes the stay all the more relaxing! We will be back! thank you :)

Unforgettable is indeed unforgettable! It was quiet and peaceful. If you a looking off a place to unwind, this is it! My life and I enjoyed every minute of our stay here and sours dogs did too!

Property was a bit dated for price. Bathrooms could use some TLC. Also found many spiderwebs in windows. Warning, EXTREMELY steep driveway that was a surprise to us. Other than that, exactly as pictured. Assistance was just a phone call away 24hrs a day. Property was breathtaking. Just us and nature. Exactly what we were looking for ❤️

This was a great get away. Great secluded property with really nice hiking trails. Nice pond overlooked by a relaxing deck. The hot tub with a clear night doesn’t get any more relaxing.

The property was secluded and beautiful, and the dome was so much fun. The family and dog had a wonderful time relaxing and exploring the grounds. Had a fire in the fire pit, soaked in the hot tub, watched some hoops, and hiked the nature trails. Ventured out to Grayson Highlands. The kids went up into the observatory on top of the dome. We didn't fish but saw a few fish jumping in the pond. Property was very clean and kitchen had the cooking necessities. Awesome getaway!

The dome has everything you need for a wonderful trip except food and your friends. Beds are comfortable with nice linens, plenty of towels for the hot tub. A well stocked kitchen with the basics. The moon was shining right through the window over the bed each night and zero noise can be heard from the road. Best sleep I've had in ages! The top of the driveway is a little steep, so go at an angle if you have a low ground clearance car so you don't bottom out as you pull in the parking area. We will absolutely be back

Loved our short stay in this unique get away in the woods. Very private and cozy, but with plenty of space to spread out. Witnessed a few flying squirrels at dusk - what a treat. Loved the hot tub and full kitchen. Would recommend staying here!
