"We were greeted by Lorraine and Casey, plus three of their adorable pups in the front yard, then shown around the property. It is quaint, private and homey. We loved the hot tub and the bed was cozy, if a little difficult to get out of in the night due to the small alcove it sits in! We spent two peaceful nights at the suite and recommend it. "This house was great for our family of four adult couples. We each had our own bedroom and the two bedrooms on the front of the house had spectacular views of the mountains and harbour. A 15 min walk to the beach and shops, food and anything else you needed. The downstairs tenant has a completely separate entrance so don't worry about that. This house has an amazing steam shower which we all enjoyed. There is a Japanese meditation room which was a nice quiet escape. The house is well appointed...

While the rate was on the higher side for an October stay—typically considered shoulder season—it’s understandable given that it’s Vancouver.
