"There is an unpleasant odor, noticeable as soon as you walk into the unit. The building doesn't have good soundproofing. We could hear the upstairs neighbors, footsteps and what sounded like furniture being moved around. Unfortunately, they were moving around until 1 AM Monday morning. The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped. The beds are comfortable. "

"There were a lot of extras supplied by the host. They had toys in the laundry area, along with games and puzzles that my grandkids could play. They also supplied soaps, shampoo, etc, which I will have to keep in mind for the next time. Less to pack! Rockford unfortunately experienced 10 inches of snow, and with our early checkout, we had to shovel out. But we got a 50 dollar reimbursement, which was very kind. "The view of lake was great. We were in cabin 1, But the cabins are really run down and not very clean. Oven was filthy and stove top and sink had deep scratches and chunks of porcelain hunks gone leaving black spots. Faucets had corrosion , water had a really bad smell. I could go on but I should stop. We will never stay there again or suggest it to our friends. "

"Mark and Amy literally thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen with quality pots/pans, dishes, drink ware, appliances, etc… even a supply of basic spices, and olive oil. Unit is VERY clean and well organized. Property is still being developed, but is already awesome with 2 great fire pits, a nice grill, 4 campsites with utilities. We will only stay here when visiting family in the area going forward."

"Our first impression was a WOW! It really never changed from a wow during our entire stay. My 2 extremely minimal suggestions would be to maybe bring your own pillow and that the shower head was not the easiest to use for those with longer hair. We are excited to book our trip here again next year! A really nice VRBO through and through.The host was also extremely nice and responded quickly to any questions we had. Thank you!"
