"Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. "We had booked a weekend stay but didn’t check in until about 11pm on the first night. Got to our room which was quite spacious but as soon as we opened the bathroom door, the smell of mould was extremely overwhelming. "Lovely little place in a really peaceful setting. It's also great to see a company embrace sustainability as well. However, this is also their downfall as well! Unfortunately we were booked in during the hottest weekend of the year so far over May bank holiday and the only room that had proper aircon was reception! The rest of the place was like an oven.
