"Excellently located with plenty of facilities this is a lovely classic hotel. Large clean room and excellent value. The staff in the bar and dining room were very helpful and friendly - especially as my partner is gluten free. Great palce from which to explore Buxton and the Peaks."

"Good hotel, friendly and helpful staff, nice food etc. However I've marked down because of the heating situation in the executive suites. The lowest temperature setting was 19C, which is unnecessarily high and made the room uncomfortably hot. None of the settings were adjustable - so the only option ..."
