"Our room was secluded & quiet. Location was great & easy to manage. People were friendly & accommodating. Thumbs up! 👍"

"Good location on the highway that was close access to the historic downtown area. The back deck area and tables were great to sit out, watch the deer in the woods or chat with some of the other guests."

"Good place! The dinner not good. The people very nice. "

"I have stayed a a variety of motels and I can honestly say this one was the worst. The bedding was horrible, only flat sheets and a comforter. There were roaches in the room, I killed several. I found an ant in the microwave. There was a coffee maker but no coffee or cups. There was only one bar of soap in the room so you had to take it back and forth from the tub to the sink. "Very nice stay in an old Victorian house. The neighborhood and the town are unique and quirky! We stayed in the Captain Bridgeford room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was small but functional with a claw foot tub that has a shower."

The guests next to us sat outside, laughing and whooping it up until midnight, as well. Then, there was the man who was roaming the grounds at 5:30 AM yelling incessantly. So…not very restful or peaceful. Also, it’s fine that there is no housekeeping, but then the rooms need more than one small trash bin."

"The staff was very helpful"

"Friendly staff, available when needed. Although the place is outdated, they kept it clean and well-maintained."

"This was one of the best trips my wife have ever taken. Darrell and Susan were a delight, the B&B was beautiful and very well kept, and the food was spectacular. We will certainly be back."
