Girls night

I stayed 1 night with some girlfriends as an adult sleep over. The place was clean and as described. The check in was kind of difficult with multiple codes. Its a really long walk from parking (i gave up on finding the assigned parking spot). I highly suggest bringing a wagon if you have a lot of stuff. The library is awesome!

Perfect for families

This property was perfect for our family's week-long trip to Michigan for Thanksgiving. We had family over for dinner one day and we were able to fit around the dining room table and overflow at the kitchen island. The kids LOVED the bunk beds and the 8th floor library!

Nice place for kids

Our family gathered in Grand Rapids to walk in the Alzheimer’s Walk. We had always wondered about the castle, and were pleasantly surprised by the facility. The only real negative was that the signage was not great. It was kind of tough to find the parking spot, and easy to get turned around in the building. I wish we would have known about the facility when we were visiting our daughter at GVSU as it would have been a good option.

Girls Outing

Went with my daughters and sisters for a Girls Outing to Grand Rapids. Apartment had plenty of room for the 5 of us.Close to the activities we had planned. It was a wonderful stay.

Cool Castle Confusing Parking

The castle is really cool. the parking and entering the building was confusing. The apartment was super clean and the kitchen had all accommodations. Kids loved it, great for families. Accessing the lobby was impossible, had to go through the parking garage.

Great location - second year here

We love this space. The Grand Castle is such a unique property, and this condo is decorated with Disney/Marvel themes that our kids love. One light was strobing when we checked in, I emailed the company, and they had someone out the next day to fix it. It was super smooth. Check out is also super easy. We will likely try to stay there again!

Great Stay

My wife and I, our daughter and her 7 and 10 year old children found it to be perfect for our needs. Lots of space, the Disney theme enthralled the kids, and it is located a short 10 minute expressway drive to all the sights we wanted to see over our 3 day stay. It was way better than a hotel, since we were in one apartment vs. hotel rooms. As noted iin other reviews, the check in process is a little confusing, given the huge size of the building and finding our way around. However, IF you prepare by doing advance verification and follow the steps they give you, it will work out -- and once you do it the first time, it is pretty easy. We are happy campers. Oh, and if you are sightseers, we strongly recommend Meijer Gardens, the Ford Presidential Library, and the Grand Rapids Public Museum -- all wonderful.

Great space

Nice spacious apartment in a really cool building. Our 3 and 5 year-olds loved it. The decorations were really cool. Clean; laundry on-site was amazing. Check in and check out were pretty easy.

It was great staying in a Castle. Great attention to details. Our grand children loved it.

Everything was great, except no luggage carts. I had to take 9 trips from my car, thru the parking garage, thru the hallway, up the elevator, and to our apartment- bothe checking in and out. Need carts or valet to help.

Attention Disney lovers!

If you love Disney & have a 5yr old this castle is for you. Lots of Disney themed items in the apt. The TV has only streaming services & the volume would be soft & then very loud- aggravating. The property management company is very rigid. We had an Friday mid afternoon event & the dialysis clinic was having a hard time finding a early Am apt -asked to cancel one night of a 3 night stay ,so be sure you have your ducks 200% in a row before booking ! even tho we understood the rules this left a bad taste in our mouths for no medical accommodation

Fun novelty

This was a fun place to stay, mostly for the novelty, but the pool area was pretty dingy so we did not enjoy that aspect of the property. Inside is a fairly ordinary apartment set up. Pretty comfortable, good mattresses. Our apartment could’ve been cleaned better but overall, fun, one time stop for kids!

Staycation

Wanted to get out of the house for a few days so we chose the grand castle. The kids really enjoyed their stay the pictures make the space seem larger than it actually is. I would say our one surprise was that there was only one tv in the house (were not used to that lol). We had a nice family time though.
