Perfection!

This stay was absolutely a perfect getaway. This property is decorated beautifully. The access to the river is fantastic. We spent a large part of our days sitting out on the dock looking out at the river. Would highly recommend this rental.

Fabulous

This was such a beautiful stay! It’s on the quiet side of the river I’ve been on both it’s heaven to relax in the beautiful gazebo and deck down by the water . During our stay we enjoyed peaceful rides on kayaks. My two young adult children loved it! It’s tasteful and modernly decorated . Firewood is provided as well to end the night with a warm fire . After our swim we had a chill and went into the sauna to warm up. I would definitely stay here again and plan to!

Wonderful Time in Grand Mira

Alix’s home is in a wonderful location in Grand Mira. We visited in the fall and therefore can not comment on the lake, other than it is a beautiful view! The cottage is small, but was a perfect size for the two of us. Communication with Alix is top notch.

Beautiful vacation house on the water

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful vacation house. The house is very nicely decorated. The house was very clean upon arrival and all the appliances work great. House has a heat pump which must be especially nice on hot humid summer days. The deck around the house and the waterfront deck are absolutely amazing. We would definitely stay here again. Cheers

Private, out of the way getaway

This is in a beautiful spot on the Mira river, but a long drive to go anywhere. So it's great for a getaway. The house seemed professionally decorated, but somewhat lacking in home personality. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed.

AMAZING

Unfortunately we had a family emergency and had to cancel our booking 3 days before it took place. While we were extremely saddened by this, family is most important and therefore the loss of money on the rental didn't seem so important. We had contacted Alix with the bad news and she was very concerned and sent her thoughts and prayers. She went above and beyond listing the property on many sites to cover some of our loss cost. In the end she was able to return a portion of the rental money which was appreciated very much as we know this is a loss to her as well. When you have great rental owners you know they take pride in their property and that makes the stay much more enjoyable!

Beautiful cottage and location

We enjoyed 3 weeks on the Mira in this beautiful location in late October, early November. A well kept cottage that was pet friendly with a big yard for our dog to play. We would definitely stay there again!
