Annette V's review of cabin & property is spot on. 1/2 mile walk from cabin to lake was a must for me, my wife and my dog after morning coffee. Very peaceful! Only disappointment was no fire at night because of super dry conditions. If you are looking to escape from city or suburban living...this place is clean and quiet. Owners were very responsive and answered all questions quickly. Woul stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property! Everything was very clean, organized, and nicely decorated. Our dog enjoyed all of the surrounding woods and trails. The deck looking towards the backyard is awesome - plenty of seating to relax and appreciate nature! We ate at “The Wooden Nickel Bar & Grill,” which had great food and awesome service.

The cabin was very quite very clean. It was very far to get to the lake. We had a 4 wheeler or it would have been to far. The property was super clean and decorated very nice.

Was great coming Back from the Dells to a quite peaceful house. Actually wished we spent more Time at the property. Next time going to add another day just to enjoy the lake access more.

This property allowed me, my 4 kids and parents to have a fun AND relaxing long weekend. Many options for all to enjoy the weekend the way each wanted to. From a relaxing nap on the hammock to fun (and exhausting) time on the hammock. It was fun for all! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The remote cabin gave us a quiet retreat after fun in the dells. Owners were very responsive amd friendly. Would recommend this cabin to any that want a quiet cabin. The short walk to the lake nearby was perfect. Thank you for contributing to our great 2024 vacation.

Cabin was a perfect fit for my adult family of 5. We stayed here while visiting family in the area. Fully stocked kitchen. We hiked to the lake and loved the remoteness and peaceful nature.

This is a wonderful place to stay! It is SO peaceful and incredibly quiet. We barely heard any traffic during our week-long stay. Yet, it is close enough to the Dells for an occasional activity. A total of 6 adults were there at one point. The way the home is situated, there was adequate space for all of us, even though one of us had to work from home. He had very reliable internet service the entire time, even for Zoom calls, The grounds are exceptional! Very gorgeous woods, pretty landscaping and a shaded wildflower meadow, with several mowed paths throughout. The swing by the firepit was enjoyed by all of us, and building a fire was easy even during rainy days. Plenty of wood was available and stacked to keep it dry. The dirt path down to the lake is very wide, and free of vegetation. It is quite hilly and very long, but a pretty walk. On damp days, be sure to bring the bug spray for the walk down. The lakefront is terrific with a great deal of peaceful sandy shoreline on a cove. We saw no one else on the lake the entire time!! There's also a handy outhouse at the lakefront. It is SO clean and NOT at all smelly!! It has paper towels, hand sanitizer and 3 beach chairs. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessities. The water was amazing, and they have a built-in filter for drinking water at the kitchen sink! NO smell, NO rust staining! There did seem to be some air in the lines as there was often a loud noise after flushing the toilet, but no biggie!

Had a wonderful time with the family here, there is no wifi or cable but the host does have a bunch of movies to settle in for a cozy winter night. There's a ton of fun stuff outside that would be great in the summer. Host was responsive and the location was clean and easy to access. Would love to stay here again!

I really like the place.Very cozy, clean and well prepared cabin for quests.The area is quit and just for relax. Great communication with the owners.Really recommend it,will come back for sure
