Wow. This beautiful home sits on the shore of Lake Superior, with direct access to the rocky shore. Our family enjoyed so much time exploring the rocky shore and just sitting and marveling at the beauty of the lake. Inside the home, in addition to an unbeatable view of the lake from almost every room, there is a cozy living and dining room, fully decked out kitchen with everything you could need, a gorgeous master bedroom, and a master bathroom with a soaking tub to enjoy the lake view while you relax. The wraparound deck and landscaped patio again provide great views of the lake and also a large area to grill, dine outside, sit and relax, and play outdoor games. I truly cannot imagine a better place for our annual family trip to the North Shore. Although I don't even know if we needed to leave the property to get our fill of the lake, but we did venture out each day to explore so many parks and landmarks in the area. We took easy and beautiful drives for hiking and beaching in Temperance River, Tettegouche, Split Rock, Cove Point, Crystal Beach, Sugarloaf Cove, and Illgen Falls, as well as enjoyed great meals, ice cream, coffee, mini golf, and supply stops in Tofte, Schroeder, Beaver Bay, Silver Bay and Two Harbors. I cannot recommend this location enough, and cannot wait to return!

North Shore getaway

Everything about this property is wonderful. We did not want to leave. The views of Lake Superior are stunning from outside and inside the home. The house is comfortable with all the things you need. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the soaker tub. We can't wait to come back again.

Great stay on Superior

My family and I had a great time staying on the lake for a summer vacation. The property is close to many different state parks, which we frequented. The views were amazing over the lake and the stars at night. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay on the North Shore. One item to note: There is another cabin set further back on the property. It did not bother us as the folks renting that cabin were incredibly friendly and we enjoyed seeing them. But, just note that it is not completely isolated. We had a wonderful time and we would definitely stay there again!

HEAVEN

This property is amazing. I almost didn't book because our children are 10, 8, 8 and 6 and was concerned it would not be kid friendly, but I was wrong, it was perfect for our family of 6. It was clean, functional, there were games and even hot chocolate and candies left as a welcoming gift. Two points I want to rave about, first the view, I mean its why we all travel to Lake Superior in the first place and its obvious the owners were blessed to have been able to rebuild over an existing building to have been able to build so close to the lake, its beyond stunning. The second, and maybe even better than the view was how comfortable the bed was, it felt like what sleeping in heaven must feel like, it was luxurious and I slept with the windows open and could hear the waves crashing against the rocks. If I could change anything, it we would of liked to have had a fire pit outside for smores. But truly, a great place.

Perfect escape

Such a gorgeous home with beautiful artwork and unbelievable views. Hosts thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay and provided all the essentials. The master bed was so comfortable and the sound of the waves was so relaxing. It was hard for us to leave such a peaceful place. Reflections is as close to the lake as you could be with beautiful expansive views of the lake! The kitchen has everything you could ever hope for in a rental — even s’mores sticks. The king bed was very comfortable. We adored the sauna. Such a wonderful location on the lake and just south of Schroeder in Hwy 61.

Gorgeous view!

This vacation home has everything you need. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and found everything we needed to make the cake in the kitchen. The view is unbeatable and the beds so comfortable. The sauna was an added bonus! The driveway down to the property is quite steep so a bit nerve-racking with snow and ice, but manageable. I would not hesitate recommending this property!

Stunning Property

I wanted a special spot for my wife and I to celebrate our 30th Wedding Aniversary. This was it. The beautiful view of Lake Superior exceeded our expectations. You feel so close that you might get your feet wet. Thinking we might want to return for our 31st….

Schroeder paradise

Majestic Superior!

My wife and I enjoyed a great long weekend getaway at this property. It met or exceeded expectations. Fantastic view, gently lapping waves, the majesty of the big lake literally at your doorstep. The owners had a nice welcome packet of goodies and provided many conveniences that we put to good use. We look forward to a return trip soon.

Lake Superior retreat

This rental property is right on the rocky shoreline of Lake Superior and is spectacular. The house is very well organized, clean, spacious, comfortable, with a fully functional kitchen and beautiful views from nearly every window. We really didn't need to leave, nor did we want to leave, this lovely spot for relaxation and meditation.

WOW!

Wow! The views at this lovely home are unmatched. Loads of light from skylights and floor to ceiling windows. Makes you feel like you're on top of the water. We watched Lake Superior for hours seated in the two swivel rocker recliners in front of the windows. The weather was not conducive to spending time on the huge wrap around deck, but we didn't really mind since the views were so spectacular. Nicely furnished and decorated with many North Shore touches. Very roomy too. Loved the vaulted beamed ceilings. Large kitchen. Great location close to lots of attractions. It was our 50th anniversary, and we felt this home was the best way to celebrate. We were right on!

Incredible!

If only I could give this place 10 stars! Everything about Reflections is amazing - the cabin itself, beautiful details, location and proximity to Superior shorefront, and the feeling of being remote and removed from the hustle and bustle of life. The owners were so great to work with, and are very responsive. Location is perfect - not too far from Duluth, but also a quick drive further north to Lutsen and Grand Marais. One of our favorite parts of the trip was just relaxing in the cabin, making dinner, sitting by the beautiful fireplace, and waking up to the waves of Lake Superior crashing on the rocks. This place is true paradise, can't recommend it enough!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will absolutely rent again in the future!

Comfortable & Beautiful

The reflections cabin is wonderful for enjoying Lake Superior views with our family. The entire side of the cabin facing the lake is windows. The cabin slept 6 comfortably! The beds were very soft! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The bathrooms and laundry room are large and with 6 people these spaces were really nice to keep things organized. The only downside we experienced was black stable flies were aggressive some days. However we were able to have an camp fire on the rocks which was unique & memorable. We hope to come back with more family to book both cabins someday!
