We stayed the week of Thanksgiving everything was exactly as stated! The house was awesome and the beds were very comfortable. We had read a couple reviews that the beds were uncomfortable but we didn’t find this true for us. Would definitely stay there again.

Was a great place to stay but the only downside was the water is right there but you can’t fish at this property. You have to go down to Park Point to fish and it’s a little ways to walk to downtown.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love this home which has views of boats going in and out of a lovely marina. You can put your kayak or paddle board right into the water in the back yard. The geese are visible hanging out in Shadow Mountain Lake. The house has lots of space and is clean and comfortable.

Best Vacation Ever!

Just my daughter and I doing something different for Christmas. The house was so nice, toasty warm, easy to find, off of Shadow Mountain Lake. Beautiful for 2 or up to 6 people. Everyone in the Grand Lake/Winter Park area was so nice! We may have to make it tradition!

Great place in Grand Lake!!

This property was perfect. Direct lake access from the back yard. Very clean and spacious. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Location was also close to downtown Grand Lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Edgewater Vista, great place to stay

Beautiful views and on the inlet to Shadow Mtn Lake. Kitchen is good enough. A good kitchen table and chairs to seat 6 or more.

Lovely Location, Nice Accomodations for Family Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we really enjoyed this property. The location was easy to reach, the open living area offered space for family gathering and we enjoyed watching the wildlife pass by on the canal. However, the beds were so uncomfortable, we had people camping out on the couch and sleeping in the recliner. It really took away from our stay to have such poor beds. The kitchen could also use a restocking on basic supplies like cookie sheets and pot holders. We also did not have enough towels, pillows, to accomodate our group (4 towels for 6 people over 4 nights). Having to drive our trash to a dumpster in town was also a request that I do not feel was reasonable.

Nice, but not what expected

This is a nice property. Very clean, well managed and all. My only complaint is the description lead me to believe this property was on the lake. It is not. It is on a small inlet to a boat harbor. I thought I was going to be in the lake.

Reviewer Comments: We absolutely adored our stay here! 2 nights into our 5 night stay we tried to extend our trip and book for next year :) Yes the stairs into the canal are precarious and we would love a king bed in the master suite but these are all details. Overall, if you want a log cabin vibe where you can put into the lake with your SUP right from your backyard, this is it. Our little family was so happy here! Thank you!!

Comfortable house on Shadow Lake access canal

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A very enjoyable visit to Grand Lake, Co when the season was winding down. The weather was beautiful & so was the water. The house does not look like the photos would convey, it is smaller and the angles of photography are clever. That said, I would stay there again. All the accommodations were nice and access to the water was 20 feet away. The direct view was across the channel at the small housing development but look to your left and the world opened up to spectacular lake views.A couple small things were irksome, The windows needed to be washed and the screen on the back of the house was useless/ripped out. I felt like for the money, these are things that should have been addressed.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental unit was just ok. All three beds were uncomfortable and the mattresses need replaced. There are no TVs in the rooms which was annoying. The refrigerator is not right and makes loud buzzing noises. One of the patio chairs was broken as well as the sliding door screen was torn. The pictures on your site shows a fire pit. There was no firepit and we looked forward to sitting by the pit in the evenings.

Reviewer Comments: The owner wants to charge premium prices and delivers a mediocre experience. The place smells, was dirty and provided limit toiletries. No fire pit or chiminea to enjoy outdoor patio at night when it gets cold. The management company was never in their office when we stopped in for questions or customer service. You have to haul your trash into town and drop off behind management building in locked dumpster. We enjoyed our time in town and on the lakes - so we would recommend the location just not this property or management company!

Excellent location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house fit our family of 5 perfectly. We loved waking up and looking out on the canal and Shadow Lake each morning. The house was well stocked and comfortable. We have 2 teen daughters and a 10 year old son. Our thought was that the girls would share a bed but in the end one of our daughters made the oversized couch her bed and it worked great. We loved walking into town for dinner at night and for coffee and breakfast at the bakery. We stopped at a Walmart in our way into town to get supplies. I wish we had been to the house 1st because they had plenty of coffee filter, laundry detergent and paper towels. Now they have even more. We loved staying on the quieter side of RMNP! Saw lots of wildlife when we would grab an ice cream and do evening drives into the park. The only tiny complaint I have is that the house did smell very musty and took a couple days to really air out. I’m sensitive to smells so that was something that probably wouldn’t bother most.

Disgusting and Bad Management/ Owner

I understand things happen. But this was by far the worse stay in all my years of travel. What’s worse is the way the manager’s excuse was the owner will address the repairs after we move out and they come stay in a few weeks. 1-The back door will not lock causing a issue with leaving valuables and the security of my family. 2-Refrigerator is horrible. It makes a buzzing noise every 5 minutes making it hard to sleep. It randomly freezes the food in refrigerator and the freezer stops freezing and thaws everything but then freezes again. This was a complaint in other reviews. They knew it was an issue. 3- there was a large clump of hair on the bathroom floor at check in. 4- disgusting large clumps of black hair on the walls of shower upstairs. 5- I called in 1 and 2 Friday afternoon. I was told tge lock could be addressed that day but the manager needed approval on refrigerator. They promised a call back that day with update. Saturday I get a call one day late that nothing can be done as owner is not responding and will be next to stay in unit and may want to address these things themselves. I email the manager with these complaints and told them a partial refund is more than fair. We were unsafe and disgusted by the nasty unit. I own a property management and understand things happen.
