THIS GUEST REVIEW IS FALSE and Adriano is a liar. Adriano arrived on New Year's Eve and left the property the next day. Only after leaving did Adriano report having left, saying that there was no hot water, and demanding a full refund. We gave this guest the benefit of the doubt because it was New Year's Day, we thought it might take more than 1 day to get a plumber on site, and the property owner wanted to "take care" of the guests. So we offered to refund everything except one night's rent, the cleaning fee, and taxes. Adriano agreed and we issued that refund. This was a big mistake! A plumber did visit the property the day we issued the refund and it turns out that Adriano lied. There was nothing wrong with the water heater or anything else at the home. Unfortunately for us, Adriano had already been issued the refund. We were helpful, communicated promptly, and issued what would have been a fair and agreed upon refund. In the end, the nightly rate for the one night we did not refund did not even cover the cost of the plumber's visit. There have now been 4 guests since Adriano. No problems, no issues. The home is in good condition and everything works as it should. If an unexpected issue, a real issue, were to arise in the future, guests should know that our guest services team will provide prompt, helpful, and compassionate services. That said, we've learned our lesson, and we won't be issuing refunds in the future, until an issue has been investigated, evaluated, verified as valid, fixed, and the reservation has come to a conclusion. We would be happy to host you in this home as we pride ourselves on not only a great experience for the guests but an outstanding team of guest service agents to help future guests with whatever they need or any questions they have.
