Week-end away in the Carriage House
The Carriage House was a great set-up for our family (2 adults and 2 furry friends): close to everything you need when you travel (groceries, cafés, gas stations, restaurants...etc.) very very clean, well kept with extra amenities you don't always find elsewhere, fenced-in small yard which was so nice to have for our dogs when we spent time outside eating or chatting, lots of windows and lights, and my favorite...REAL PLANTS! :) We did not have the pleasure to meet our hosts, but a lovely note and a local bottle of wine to try was left on the dining room table. What a nice and thoughtful gesture! We would definitively recommend The Carriage House if you travel through Great Junction, CO.

A home away from home
The owners have taken pride in furnishing the Carriage House to create a very spacious and welcoming environment. The provided amenities are exceptional and have been thoughtfully selected to please varying needs. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to comfortably relax while attending the Palisade Peach Festival on some very warm days.

Adorable, thoughtful, welcoming, and perfect.
We’d been living a vagabond life between selling a home in Denver and buying a new one in Grand Junction. This adorable Carriage House was perfect. We walked in the door and went “oh this is so sweet”! Big sigh of relief and perfect for our needs. The owners went above and beyond in thoughtfully leaving a bottle of wine from a local winery, providing a huge bowl of k-cups which we loved, and providing bottles of water in the fridge. (The tap water wasn’t too tasty). (Thank you owners!). We had everything we needed, and it was super great for our sweet senior pup, with an adorable fenced yard having table and chairs, nice grass and plants around the perimeter. The house is aptly decorated in a clever barn style….see, the the owners live in the barn next door. Small, but has everything you need and then some. A grateful stay.

Really cozy, well constructed renovation with beautiful compact kitchen, comfortable bed, and nice shady fenced garden. Andy's workmanship shines through on the carpentry!

Wonderful cozy place!
We loved staying here. Very convenient location to wineries and breweries. We had our dog with us and it was nice that the lawn was right there when you open the door (there was no steps or anything). Our dog is a senior dog so it was easy to let her out. Everything here was thoughtfully done. Having outlets NEXT to the bed was so nice! Just those little things you don't think about that when someone does it, makes things easier. Would recommend and stay here again!

Cute rental, great location
This is a great little rental. Location was ideal for us. It was just myself and my dog the first night, then one of my kids joined me for the rest of my stay. It’s the perfect spot for small, intimate groups to gather.

This was in the perfect location for us. Close to Main St in Grand Junction and the wedding venue we were attending in Palisade. Owners have obviously taken great care in putting the cottage house together and wanting to create a welcoming environment.

Perfect, Quiet, Private Location
The location was great, close to grocery stores, friends and relatives, wineries, dog park and main roads to get places. A small little place, good for two or three people, can entertain a few friends. Cute decor, everything we needed and more. Nice fixtures, great hosts, private yard, and more.

Adorable, well-appointed space
We loved this little carriage house! It was so stylish and they really packed just about every creature comfort you could ask for into the space. It even has a cute backyard and a grill if needed. There was some road noise and it's kind of on the outskirts of town, but overall was convenient and comfy and we would definitely stay here again!

Sweet carriage house stay
We absolutely loved our stay at this Pear Park property. The beautiful woodwork throughout added a special coziness. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was ideal for exploring the Colorado National Monument, and Palisade and the surrounding area. It was the perfect location to bring our dogs too, with a lovely path to walk them around the property. We would certainly stay here again if we find ourselves in the area.

Flyball Weekend
I was here for a tournament with my dogs. This property exceeded my expectations and even had a nice little path to take my dogs on for a walk around the property. Not only was it beautiful, it was very clean, had a lot of amenities and had a super comfy bed and a great little yard. I loved it and so did my dogs!!

Central Location to Everything
Experience with this location from start to finish was top notch. Property was home away from home for 4 nights. It was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessities and more. The next perfect piece was the centralized convenience to downtown Palisade and Grand Junction. My wife and will definitely be back and recommending to others. Cheers! Rob & Jess

Weekend Away
This VRBO was great and exactly what we needed for a weekend away. The check-in process was super easy and contact-free. The host welcomed us with a welcome letter and a bottle of wine which could be purchased for $10. We brought our 2 dogs with us and they loved having the fenced in yard! This place was extremely clean and I loved the atmosphere inside and the way it was decorated. I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Ultra modern and comfortable stay
The carriage house has brand new, top of the line finishings and appliances. The house is stylishly decorated and has great personal touches (e.g. complimentary wine bottle from the hosts). Andy was super easy to communicate with. The lot next door seems to have abandoned/junk vehicles and a dilapidated shed which slightly mars this excellent house.

Calming
From the minute you open the door you feel you have arrived - home! Adam & Sarah have gone to great pains to make you feel comfortable in every way. The kitchen was complete with matching dishes & glasses, nice silverware (not what you see in many rentals, no yard sale stuff),! The living room was complete with comfortable recliners and a large screen TV with more channels than you could go through in a day. The bath was nicely furnished and had a very nice rain shower. Bedroom was very nice, bed a little soft to my liking, but still slept good. Our fur babies loved the small fenced yard. We have stayed at several VRBO’s and this was by far the nicest, cleanest, most nicely decorated & furnished one we have stayed in. Thank you Adam & Sarah for allowing us and our “babies” to stay in your lovely cottage. We will return!

One of the best I’ve ever stayed in!
This was one of the best vacation Rental experiences I’ve ever had. The place is so perfect for a couples getaway. It is so nicely finished with a rustic Cabin feel. The mangers are top notch. They stocked us with bottled waters in the fridge, and left bottles of wine for purchase of only $10. The place is very nicely decorated with with excellent new and top notch furniture and tvs. remote fireplace, massage chairs, nice kitchen table and chairs. It has all necessary accommodations including a really nice overhead (rain feel) shower unit. We will for sure stay again!

An Amazing Stay
We were attending a State Games event hosted at CMU. We needed a nice home base that was dog friendly. We got that and so much more. The process was so easy, our dog loved the yard, and my daughter had so much fun. With the well-stocked kitchen, we were able to store our groceries and make our own food with ease. The washer/dryer was wonderful when we needed to freshen up our clothes. This property has all the conveniences of home and we will definitely rent again if we're in Grand Junction

Great for couples and outdoor adventures
Our stay at The Carriage House was fantastic. The host was generous and kind. The space was clean, modern, and had more than the comforts of home (including a complimentary bottle of wine!). My husband and I had our small dog with us and it was the perfect size. The check-in/out process was super simple and easy. Our vacation was planned around outdoor activities. The property was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient location. Grocery and sporting goods stores were only a few minutes away. Hiking trails and the National Monument were only 15-30 minutes away. Grand Junction is a beautiful area and we were very happy we chose The Carriage House!

Carriage House
Great little property, very clean with anything you could want or need for a stay. The only possible complaint would be the location, at one point we heard a loud bang which woke us all up. It was either a gun shot or something on the highway. Everything else was perfect and we absolutely enjoyed our stay.
