This was ideal! There was one tiny detail - the third bedroom was on the third floor which got very hot during the day. No bathroom on that floor, either.Otherwise, outstanding!!!

Nice property but very different than the online description. The listing said 3 bathrooms. There was one full and one half bath. Listing said sleeps 8 with 2 queen beds. There was one queen and one double bed. Listing said 4 bunk beds, there were 2. So this unit sleeps 6, not 8. This misrepresentation should be corrected.

Fantastic View!

Hubby and I always stay for a week in Grand Haven each summer and were excited to rent this spot. The location and views were fantastic, the host/owner was very sweet, parking was easy and the rental was nice and clean. The kitchen was awesome - not that we cooked much, too many fun places to eat down town :) The only draw back, (and I mention this only to help future renters) is the furniture is very uncomfortable, it's not at all what we were expecting considering the exterior being so modern. 100% we would rent this spot again but next time we will be bringing some cushions with us for the furniture on the deck and maybe a floor pouf or two :)

California Beach in Grand Haven

Having grown up in California and later moved to Peoria Illinois, I never realized how nice are the Western Michigan beaches. This place is perfectly situated within view of the beach for an easy walk to the nice sand and warm Summer waters of Lake Michigan. The balcony views are amazing, the kitchen very modern and the place well kept. August

Location location location

Beautiful home with amazing decks to enjoy views of the water as well as great people watching. Everything was just as stated. Patio furniture could have been a bit more comfortable. Would recommend!

Fantastic stay despite bad weather

The condo more than met our needs. The set up (full bath upstairs and 1/2 downstairs; outdoor shower) and location were perfect for us. Its an easy walk across the street to the beach. We fully enjoyed the space, including both balconies, despite less than stellar beach weather. I would definitely stay again.

Great house for a beach vacation

This is a great rental with a location and view that can’t be beat! Unit has a brand new kitchen with high end appliances and two balconies both overlooking Lake Michigan. The public beach is steps from the front door and the shops and restaurants in town are a 15/20 minute walk along the water. You are renting one unit of a duplex and the owners live in the other unit and are great hosts. I was concerned by other reviews warning that the air conditioning, which works extremely well on the main floor, does not reach the bunk beds in the loft…that was true during the day when the sun was at its brightest, but was not a problem at all at night when my kids were going to sleep. The room cooled off both nights. There was a fan in the loft but they never needed to turn it on.

Very Close to Grand Haven State Park

I wanted to be close to family camping at the state park and was happy to find this property. The gas grill on the patio was great and easy to use and the home was spacious.

Birthday weekend

The property was a perfect location. We were able to walk across the street to the beach and were 1 mile from downtown. So you could walk the boardwalk to the shops or it was a quick drive to the restaurants. The owner lives on site and was super friendly. The upstairs isn’t air-conditioned. It didn’t bother us since it got cooler for us at night but just so renters are aware. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Grand Haven Beach House

Beautiful spacious condo with a fantastic location!

We loved everything about this property! The condo was beautifully done with lots of space for my husband and I and our 4 kids. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of refrigerator space, a beautiful stove and dishwasher. Our favorite feature was the front deck right off the kitchen where you can enjoy the view of the beach, sunset and do lots of people watching. Although we didn't get a chance to use it, there is also a nice gas grill on the deck. There is an even larger deck off the third floor loft where the bunk beds are located which worked great when we had our family over to watch the sunset. The condo also has a large garage where we were able to safely keep our bikes and sandy beach gear in when we weren't using them. The half bath is located on the entry level floor along with the washer and dryer which was great to have for keeping our beach towels clean and dry (make sure you bring your own). I would say that the only drawback was that the third floor does not cool very well at all. The week we stayed was in the high 90"s and even though we kept all the blinds shut during the day and the rest of the condo very cold we could not get the third floor cool enough for sleeping. However, even with this one issue we can not wait to go back!!

Great Grand Haven Stay

Our group of 3 had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect with an even better view. The property felt brand new. Everything from the high end kitchen to the 2 balconies made the trip that much more enjoyable. The pictures really don’t do this place justice. Only drawback was that, even with the fan, the upstairs bunk bed area was a bit too warm.
