Holiday Family Meet Up-Ski Trip
This home was perfect for an after-Christmas gathering/ski trip with our family from across the country. The space is perfect with an owner's suite on the first floor and then great spaces on the upper and lower levels to comfortably accommodate our group.
The home is extremely well-stocked (better than any other rental we have stayed at) and we cooked most meals here either inside or using the grill on the deck. We appreciated the owners encouraging us to use some of their essentials.
It was a very quick drive to the mountain and we were then able to avoid parking most days as we alternated skiing. Granby Ranch was a great spot for our group of skiers.
Some reviews mentioned that the driveway is steep but it was plowed and there was sand and salt in the garage that we were able to use so it wasn't a problem (although we had all four-wheel drive vehicles-which are essential for these mountain passes during ski season anyway).
Several people mentioned that more chairs would be helpful. We used a bench to add to the dining room table when gathering the full group to the table so that worked out fine.
The owner was timely and extremely responsive when we had questions or concerns.
