Got there a couple hours early, called to see if we could possibly check in early. Quick response, but was unable to check in early due to the condo being cleaned. No problem... Checked in exactly at time given, right on schedule. Very impressed I was. Thought, wow these guys are great! After getting in, started getting hotter the later it got oddly. Asked to see if they had AC, no AC. Not mentioned in listing. Told to open the windows and turn the fans on. Still hot. I get it... up there in the mountains it's suppose to get cooler so not a lot of people have AC. But did not get cooler, even with windows open and fans on all night. So maybe consider the AC for the comfort of your guests since you call this home away from home. Tossed and turned all night, sweating. So uncomfortable. My teenage daughter went up there specifically to relax and work on her homework for her summer program, thought it would be nice and quiet to focus typing up her essays, which it was, so she brought her laptop. No WiFi, not mentioned in listing. Ok... we can deal. Decided too hot, why don't you kids go to the pool. Pool was a mile away, not mentioned in listing and even if we wanted to walk, it was not an easy walk nor was it a safe walk to the pool. Ok. Figured I'd just drop them off every time they wanted to go swimming. No problem. We ended up leaving a day early because the kids couldn't deal with how hot it was in the condo, too hot to where we were all uncomfortable. It's the middle of summer, yes it does get cooler in the mountains, but not in the middle of summer. Emailed owner to see IF we can at least get credit back for the last night due to a ton of information left unmentioned in listing that would have been nice to know. Got a reply and said he was out of the country will get back to me in a couple days. It's been a week, haven't heard anything. Even if it's a no, at least email back and say something. I would have been fine. But when questions get hard, these guys just ignore you and hope you go away. Not cool. I dealt with all the mis information, have the decency to communicate whether good or bad. Instead of just brushing me off, a little communication and/or reply whether you can or cannot would be nice. Never again.
