Great place, Great host!

We really liked this place. House is so cute and cozy. Very well stocked and user friendly. She thought of everything! The yard is pretty and peaceful. dock is big and right there close.This hostess was great! Gave a lot of good info and always answered questions quickly. The only bad thing is it’s three bedrooms but both baths are inside bedrooms. Would be better if it had a half bath somewhere.

Great girls' getaway

A group of long time friends came here to just hang out together and play games. This property was set up perfectly for the four of us. The property was well stocked and we really appreciated the cabinet labels! We loved our morning coffee on the dock and watching the ducks, geese and turtles. The host was extremely thoughtful.

A nice place to gather

My sisters and I stayed at Firefly for a weekend (2nd time for us). Enjoyed the wonderful patio/ dock by Lake Granbury (wonderful place to have coffee/wine). Caught a great tribute concert Friday night and ate a wonderful dinner in town on Saturday after doing some shopping.Very comfortable house/property and enjoyed it very much.

Fantastic Stay!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Firefly Cottage is gorgeous, and so comfortable. The host has made it really feel like a home with cozy blankets and lots of family games. The view down at the dock is beautiful and it is so peaceful. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel so homey. I recommend anyone wanting a peaceful lake vacation to stay here!

5 Stars – A Lake House Dream Come True!

If you’re looking for the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and thoughtful detail—this lake house is it! My husband and I stayed with two other couples, and from the moment we walked in, we were smitten. The house is absolutely adorable—every inch screams cozy lake vibes done right.They thought of everything: outdoor and indoor games for when you're feeling competitive, map pencils, coloring and puzzles for when you're feeling curious and creative and a kitchen so stocked you’d think Grandma was coming over with her casserole. Even the front steps have a well-placed rail—because let’s face it, sometimes you’re just tired, or in our case, have a few too many artificial joints to take chances!The bedrooms were equally charming—decorated just as a lake house should be. Truly restful, Pinterest-worthy little havens. The only thing we’d add? A stool for us vertically challenged or bionic folks to hop up onto those dreamy beds without needing a running start.We had the best time—so relaxing, full of laughter, and already talking about when we can come back. It’s a gem of a getaway, and we’re hooked!And here’s what really got us—on our last night, a big storm rolled through, and the host texted us just to make sure we were safe. Seriously, how kind is that? It’s those little things that turn a great stay into a memorable one.Bottom line: it was relaxing, it was full of laughter, and it felt like a true retreat. 10/10 recommend—and yes, we’re already planning our next visit.

Cozy Lakehouse

We had an amazing time. Carolyn was very attentive and clearly cares about the details. The house had everything we could possibly think of. The kids never ran out of games to play. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms. I’m a blanket person and there were plenty of extra blankets and bedding. The beds were big and comfy. The dock is well kept and outdoor amenities were lovely. Plenty of seating. The kids loved going out on the paddle boat, fishing off the dock, sitting by the fire pit and making smores. Carolyn let us know about several events in the area during our stay and even let me know when the pelicans made an appearance on the lake, which was very cool to see. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing Weekend

My friends and I loved this place! It was very clean, very welcoming! As soon as we entered and walked around the property, we knew we should have booked an extra day. The bedrooms were all very spacious, and there was plenty of extra blankets and bedding for us all to get cozy :) We had a very relaxing weekend- the kitchen was a delight to use and the paddleboat was so, so fun!!

Relaxing Stay on the Water

Great beds! We loved the two kings and queen. We really enjoyed the grill and outdoor games. But the dock is the best of all. Gorgeous view and perfect for fishing.
