"I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and overall we had a very good experience. The inside was above our expectations. The rooms were newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining areas were also really nicely done. The beds were comfortable and everything felt fresh and well looked after. The caretaker was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay, and we received really good customer service, which made us feel very welcome. There are just a couple of...

"I got the private room and it was just amazing"

"In general all was great, greeted on arrival, told what facilities were available & if we needed anything, only needed to ask.As we were a family of 3,1 person had to sleep on the sofa/futon bed. This wasn't comfortable at all as it had no additional matress/layer for comfort, therefore you could feel the metal bars beneath your body.In the room it's self there's nowhere to place your clothes,no means of hanging facilities for the duration of your stay only coat hooks. In the bathroom albeit it's...

"Excellent place to stay with a family, our 3,6 and 11 year olds loved the outdoor spaces, the gardens and play areas are fantastic and the lounge areas are also great for families. The room was a good size and the dining room had great food at decent prices, esp as kids eat for £1! You can walk directly from the hostel to many different paths into countryside or dovedale. Our family loved this place, I highly recommend it."

"Greeted at the door by site manager and given a tour of the facilities. We had the private ensuite room and was everying we needed. The shared kitchen had all the kitchen stuffs you would require. The house in down a long drive that's very bumpy so don't bring your sports car. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we will have to be back to explore the area again some time soon"

"Phenomenal stay at the Sail Loft. I stayed a few nights after the Kadampa meditation retreat and absolutely loved my stay. The location is excellent, amazing walking opportunities and the beach is a 30 second walk from the front door! You can get whatever you need from the coop in town. The place is well heated and all cooking and cleaning amenities are provided. Place was spotless on entry and had everything I needed. Amazing price too 10/10 & I’ll be back soon"
