Our stay was disappointing and, frankly, unsafe. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a yard strewn with trash from a tipped-over bin, which I had to clean up myself. The interior was no better: a bannister post fell out the moment we went upstairs, and a kitchen stool collapsed under my young daughter, sending her to the floor.The outdoor "amenities" were even worse. The backyard steps are creaky and unstable, the swing set is lifting out of the ground (too dangerous for my 8-year-old), and there is a broken zip line with a rotting, unsafe ladder still attached to a tree.To top it off, the hosts are now trying to charge us for "damages" that were clearly pre-existing, caused by their own shoddy maintenance. We left the house in good shape, yet they are making fraudulent claims. Save yourself the stress and the safety risk—stay elsewhere.

We had a wonderful stay. Our senior dog was able to navigate the space well. We felt very comfortable with the welcoming layout of the house and particularly enjoyed the sunporch, very homey. It was a happy stay!

The house worked out well for our family Christmas gathering. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and folks enjoyed the charcoal grill and hanging out around the fire pit in the evening. A nice weekend!

Numerous roaches were visible in the home. The trash has been taken out in weeks, both cans were overflowing. The deck is not up to coarse and is very dangerous, there are no rails and is over more than the steps off the ground. Then the price, over 2200 for 2 nights. Stay away from this property.

Pet friendly and roomy. The house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Graham. The rooms are spacious, except for the downstairs bathroom, it is rather tiny and the floor is extremely slippery when wet, do use a mat of some sort when showering. The kitchen is well supplied and big enough to do plenty of cooking, though some of the cabinets and drawers stick and/or won't close or open easily. The dining room only had seats for 5 and the furniture in the nearby rooms is all beige. There is a picnic table in the backyard that can provide more seating for dining. Most of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and the one we noticed that didn't did have a fan available in the closet that could be used. The beds were comfy and clean.It's an older house with some quirky features-the stairs are quite steep to the 2 upstairs bedrooms. We had a nice stay and would stay again if needed.

Comfortable place to sleep

Good property that was primarily used for sleeping and showering. We rented two places and this was the overflow place. Our main gathering was at the other rental that had a pool. If you plan on cooking, you may find the supplies in the kitchen lacking. The oven had some problems as well. Overall, comfortable beds with good supply of bedding and towels. Some of the family wished the curtains did a better job of keeping out the morning sun.

Quaint old house

We loved our stay at the house. The downstairs bedrooms were perfect for grandparents and upstairs for adult kids all in town for graduation. Close to the university of Elon. There were 8 of us and spent most of the time on the amazing four season room. We were able to host a small grad party in the back yard which had plenty of seating with multiple picnic tables and gas grill. Although an older home, it was extremely clean and comfortable. The only minor complaint is there were only 4 coffee mugs and lacked good pans, bowls to cook with - did not affect us since we did not.

National Stay

We had an amazing stay for our swimmer who made it to Nationals in YMCA. Lots to do in the area and nice relaxing stay when we were not at the pool. Hope to come back again next year.

Pleased overall

Overall pleased, nice older home. Very clean, convenient to highways, nicely decorated, plenty of room. Disappointing not to have an iron though so caused us minor issue visiting for a wedding though this could be easily remediated in the future. Owner communicated but management company did not follow up. Kitching ceiling showing signs of water damage from bathroom above.

Wonderful First VRBO

The owners were super accommodating and responded to me so fast. We drove overnight and took us 14 hours to get to the VRBO from where we live. They were able to get us checked in early so we can rest. The place was clean and large enough for us 6 adults and more. We enjoyed using the grill for our friend BBQ and felt super safe on the neighborhood. Great place to stay!

Spacious Get Away

We had 6 adults in the house and one child. We were able to hang out in theiving rooms and outside on the deck. The kitchen had aot of different appliances like a crockpot and a blender. It didn't have some basics but I informed the owner. You could fit 7 around the dining room table plus two at the counter. The grill worked great and we appreciated having a real coffee pot as an option instead of a single use Keurig. The owners were responsive. There is only two king beds and two queen beds with two singles. Leave on the upstairs ac window unit or it will get hot up there. The house was roomy and had great water pressure. We would stay there again.

Spring

The home is an older home in a well-established quite neighborhood. We felt safe, walking by ourselves The traffic in the neighborhood was very little we did not hear or see anyone traveling speeding. Drivers seemed to be consciousness of kids possibly playing. The birds were enjoying the spring sunshine. It rained heavily while we were there, no leaks, temperature of home was very comfortable. I needed some items for a few extra servings for unexpected elder family. Our needs were accommodated immediately. The house is dated which makes it even more cozy. The 2 bedrooms downstairs were perfect size, the 2 upstairs were very larger. One upstairs had 2 twins and a queen, the other a king. If I have to say anything negative, I would say for tall people the sunroom furniture is very low to the ground. Our elder family members had difficulty sitting down and standing. If your seeking a nice quite retreat this is the place for you and your family.

Excellent Vacation Rental

The house was perfect for our time visiting the area. It was a great location, within driving distance to Raleigh and Greensboro. There was plenty of room for the kids to play and run out energy. Having a basketball goal was so great for them. The house was furnished nicely and was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This 4 bedroom house was charming and situated in a great suburban neighborhood. It was well decorated and was surprising spacious. We were able to comfortably host meals for extended family. The hosts were responsive to our needs. They even provided an electric heater for the enclosed porch. One drawback was the listing touted a "cozy fireplace" which didn't work and a "quaint little barn full of fun games like foosball, ping pong, and Pac Man" which was just a tool shed with no games. Also the driveway was torn up by tree roots, getting cars in and out is a challenge.

Nice Old home in Graham

The house is nice, but needs some more upkeep and care from the owners. Here's a list of things we found the where inconvenient to our stay, specially being a group of 5 adults and 5 children from out of the country. Trash bins full and out on the street when we arrived. A refrigerator box full of trash tipped over in the front yard Washing machine (laundry) spin cycle does not work No additional trash bags with 5 adults & 4 kids No cleaning supplies No paper towels Broken glass in cabinet Broken window in the back room Toilet downstairs bathroom dirty, BBQ and oven dirty. Ceiling fan in front bedroom dirty Dishwasher is not anchored to the cabinet, it falls out.

An enjoyable family house

A large well tended yard, a pleasantly decorated interior, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood - all making for a welcoming environment that made us immediately glad to be there. The only heads-up: it's an older house so the bathrooms are small.
