The house was filthy. The deck was filled with cobwebs, Pineneedles and broken decking. The bathrooms were filthy. The master bathroom shower was full of mold, mushrooms growing out of the woodwork. "We had a wonderful stay at Yuba River Inn. The location was beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. The check-in process was incredibly easy and smooth, which made arriving and settling in stress-free. The inn had a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and we appreciated the comfort and charm of the accommodations. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, with so much to explore and plenty of activities and things to do nearby for nature lovers...

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville."
