"Darren View is an exceptional property and I really enjoyed my stay whilst visiting The Open golf championship. The double room with en-suite was immaculate with a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom equipped with an easy to use shower. Modern LG TV that ran my favourite apps over good WiFi. Generous tea and coffee provided with snacks daily and cold water jugs for guests in the fridge in dining area was a thoughtful touch. "We had a lovely stay! All of the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough. Great vodka martini from the friendly barman (thanks.), and nice meal with generous portions. We had a superior suite which was so spacious. The coffee machine wasn't working - needed descaling - but after they came to have a look at it they brought us a pot of lovely coffee in our room which was much appreciated. "My wife and I loved this place called the "west wing" (it was literally the wing of the main house occupied by our hosts.) It was charming, spacious, clean, and equipped with all one could want for a self-catering accommodation. The grounds were amazing, full of flowers, vegetable patches green house, and the list goes on. Our hosts were so nice as they helped us figure out how to run the washer/dryer (that they had never used themselves). Top notch in every way. "
