"We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks."

"5 stars isn’t enough for Eastdale B&B. The property is immaculate. Liz is an exemplary host. The breakfast was excellent and was all quality ingredients. Parking is easy. I travel extensively for business and Eastdale B&B is the best accommodation I have stayed in for a very long time."

"The room very basic and in need of a refurbishment the carpet was stained with burn marks, the bed very uncomfortable and not the cleanest, the bathroom had stains and was in need of a deep clean, furniture was in serious need of a coat of paint, along with the whole part of the hotel. Only positive comment the place was cheap but won't be staying again"

"While the room was cheap it wasn’t very clean the shower was filthy the windows was filthy the vinyl the soap dispensers was very dirty, had a hand towel with the edges all frailed at the ends no light as you come out the room onto the landing I was left a soft brown banana that was left for the breakfast two days in a row and a slight brown apple . The breakfast sandwich was a cold defrosted bacon and sausage sandwich with the date it was frozen or defrosted on it I can’t remember. I’ve stayed...

"This venue has great potential and the new owner and team obviously have an exciting vision for the future. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included) was very tasty. Attention to detail in the room could have been better. Carpet needed hoovering (and replacing) the bed hadn’t been made and although this was remedied, it looked thrown together. The loo seat was a bit ‘mobile’ and there was no hot water in the shower (apparently the boiler had tripped out)....

"Through Expedia, I've been able to secure several nice stays for budget prices. This was a different, inferior experience. They tried to make it seem 'economy' .I was annoyed by automatic messages from 'Harry' telling me to text after 2 for a code, when check in started and when I'd arrive by pre-arranged means. "Thoroughly enjoyed my stay of just over 2 weeks. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Had a lovely top floor single room an nice skylight window. The Continental breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The Grab and Go breakfast was a good option too. The Italian Restaurant was great and open for lunch and dinner. Food and Service was excellent. The Cornhill is perfectly located with plenty of shops and places to snack or take away. Plenty a local...
