Absolutely gorgeous. The view is unmatched and I think we saw 3 people the whole time we were there, very private. It is also walkable to Tippy's which is a great place for food and drinks. We will be back for sure!

Perfect location with stunning views

Family met together for a spectacular stay only steps from crystal clear water on an unimaginable pink sandy beach. The view is unmatched. The pool was breathtaking overlooking the turquoise waters. The location was private and five doors town from the popular restaurant and hang out, Tippy’s. The upstairs shower has a problem regulating the temp and due to a holiday, our house manager only checked on us the day before we left. However we managed using the other two showers. Other than that, everything was great! We were blessed to be able to share such an experience!

Beautiful House!

This is a beautiful house right on the ocean. We walked along the beach every morning, without seeing many people. The view from the house is breathtaking. The house has great bedrooms and bathrooms, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Our boys loved the foosball table upstairs. The location is great, within walking distance to Tippys, where we ate almost daily. This was one of our family's favorite vacations.

Perfect piece of paradise

House was perfectly located on insanely gorgeous beach with reef nearby. Went snorkeling, used the kayaks a ton, saw sharks (little lemons and a nurse - nothing to worry about, rays and dolphins right in front of the house. Walked to Tippy's every other day for lunch. Relaxed in the infinity pool at the end of each day with perfect view of the beach below. We only explored the island one day (Glass window, Queen's bath and Hatchet bay caves) because we didn't want to leave the property as it had everything we needed to unwind and enjoy the perfection that is Eleuthera. Sherman was awesome and only a phone call away for any help that was needed and the owners were immediately responsive to answer any questions we had.

Beautiful Bahama beach stay

We had a bit of a rocky journey getting there. Unrelated to our stay purely weather related. That said once we arrived, everything was perfect. It was a beautiful beach house right on the ocean. The weather was perfect. We loved Eleuthera and the host was wonderful. They provided a lengthy list of things to do….helping us arrange activities for the kids, as well as helping with rentals and things to do throughout our stay. Thank you so much!

Perfect

Our group of 6 had an amazing time at the Palisades Beach House. The house was spacious & had everything we needed. Being able to walk down the stairs to the empty beach was great. We frequented Tippy's restaurant, walking there multiple times - very convenient and the food (and drinks) were delicious. The locals were so friendly & inviting. We had a great time! We'd definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again soon!

Relaxing spot, immaculate vibes

Everything was great. The house was as advertised, and fairly well stocked. The cleaning crew was still there when we arrived around checkin time, and was rather unpleasant to me when I asked whether we could come in. The caretaker, Mr. Culmer was there as well, and he said we could just leave our luggage in the garage while we waited for the cleaning crew to finish. We walked to Tippy’s to wait, because that’s what you do on Banks Rd! That was a little hiccup right at the start of the trip, but everything else was just as expected. Very nice house - I can recommend it to anyone.

A week in paradise

Palisades is a fantastic property in a beautiful location in the middle of Eleuthera. The house has just about everything one needs and if something is missing, the caretaker, Sherman, will take care of it. He is truly a lovely man who grew up on the island and was extremely helpful. A few things to note: you're on an island so while the house may come with internet, that doesn't mean it is always working in the community. We didn't have access the first three days. The house is also dated but this is a Bahamian Island. It's palatial compared to many of the villas and local homes. Groceries and personal items are difficult to come by if you are looking for certain things. For pharmacy items, bring them with you. Get eggs and fresh produce at stands on your way from the airport. We found two great ones: one in Hatchet Bay and the other in Palmetto Point (Island Farm). And while you're there, ask Sherman to open some fresh coconuts for you. It's completely worth it.

Process and communication was very easy, we arrived at The Palisades with little difficulty from the directions and the PM was there to greet us. He checked in on us frequently and was very kind.

15 days family vacation

It was our first time on the island and we had a marvelous time. First off, I would like to say that we were 7 adults, 1 teen and 4 children. The house is located in central Eleuthera which allows you to do excursion to the north or south parts of the island. We enjoyed the kayaks, the snorkel masks, day trips to Spanish Wells, Harbour Islands, and many days relaxing on that magnificent beach. Wow what a beach. Close by there is a reef which we saw sting rays, a lobster, many fishes. Plus the local restaurants were great, ‪Tippys (walking distant)‬, 1648 and The Buccaneer Club (are close by). Regarding the house, it fit us comfortable, it was clean and the two different tv areas was great for the kids, well supplied. Views are amazing!! This time with the family here will be cherished forever and looking forward to next time!
