What a fantastic experience! The Beach House is a stunning location right on a beautiful stretch of beach, and the hosts are incredibly attentive. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, from the gourmet kitchen to the three spacious bedrooms. After seven weeks, we were reluctant to say goodbye!

Paradise Indeed

We stayed a week and were smitten with the island as well as this unique, authentic, charming home. Steps to the private beach. The pool was a plus. We loved being on Banks road close to everything we needed. We will be back!

Paradise

The property was just perfect for our group of 6. Although we cooked very little, everything we needed was already there. Plenty of dishes, pans and even quite a few spices/condiments. The pool is showing it's age and could use a little TLC, but other than that, everything was just as nice as we imagined by the pictures online. The beach is as perfect as they come and we enjoyed all of the floats, kayaks and chairs provided. We will totally stay at The Beach House again and highly recommend to anyone that is searching for the perfect vacation getaway!

A Week in Paradise

We were a group of three couples, all active seniors in need of the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty and pace of Eleuthera. As soon as we arrived, after a frustrating trip from Nassau on unreliable puddlejump airline, we realized that it was all worth it. Everything was perfect. The interior of the Beach House had everything we could need. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels and beach towels, and the kitchen well was provisioned. Outside, by the pool there are sun areas, areas to dine and a wonderful shaded area with 2 large built in sofas. Just feet away, down the steps past the outdoor shower with hot and cold water, is the short path to the most magnificent beach. There is a thatched shade area with 6 reclining chaises that look out onto the water. Walks on the beach, swimming, reading and naps in the shaded pavilion were the best cure for a long winter in the Northeast. If only we could have stayed and avoided the return to ice and snow! We would all love to return. The owner, Michelle, is gracious and we frequented her restaurant, The Buccaneer, several times. Highly recommend.

Beach House Bliss

This was our first visit to Eleuthera and it did not disappoint! The house is located on one of the most stunning beaches on the island with views to die for! The Beach House is well equipped and had everything we needed for a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great quality cookware and sharp knives were a lovely surprise as most rentals tend to lack in that area. Plenty of dinnerware and glassware etc. There is a 5 gallon water dispenser which was fantastic. Bedrooms were spacious and we found the beds super comfortable. Plenty of towels and extra linens if needed. The outdoor space was wonderful and lots of little spots to hang out in. There is a “covered patio” that provides shelter from the elements and is a great place to take nap, sip coffee or enjoy a cocktail. Recommend heating the pool in the “winter” months as the ocean can be cool and it’s a treat to warm up in the pool after a day in cooler waters. Plenty of lounge chairs, beach toys and “extras”! The No-See-Ums are NO joke. Bug spray is a must as well as long sleeves/pants at dusk/dawn. The house is newly equipped with a generator! Power did go out briefly and it was great having the generator kick on! Michelle is a fabulous hostess. She was extremely communicative and readily available when needed. They say “Eleuthera is not for everyone!”…. However, it definitely captured our hearts! It was hard leaving the island and we are already planning our return trip.

Tropical Paradise!

My family had our best vacation yet at The Beach House! Such a comfortable house and Michele was extremely helpful. The beach is stunning and we spent most of our time snorkeling around the reefs right in front of the property. We didn’t want to leave!

Best of both worlds

WE were pleasantly Surprised at the beautiful beach just off the deck! The house was perfect and fully stocked with everything we needed. Water and ice were also supplied by Michelle which was great! We really didn’t need to leave the house. Although we had some really Windy days we were able to snorkel later in the week. We’ve stayed in quite a few places but this one far outweighed the rest!

I would buy this house

For 25 years, my family has stayed at a beautiful, private resort in the BVI. We counted the days from the moment we left until we’d return the next year. This year, new spouses and grandchildren made our group too big to go back, so we decided to rent a house on an island as quiet as the one we loved. We chose Eleuthera because few people lived there and it there’s been hardly any development. I had several requirements: authentic island decor; a prefect, pristine beach; resort amenities like beach chairs, a palapa, snorkel gear and kayaks. And last, a staff that would cook great food and make us feel at home. We got it all. Our host, Michelle, was fantastic in every way and made sure our two weeks were perfect. We had the same feeling at the end we had at our long-time resort: don’t make us go.

Beach House

We visited the Beach House in November for Thanksgiving week, we were a group of six and it did not disappoint. Aside from the incredible location with a private path to the beach that opened up to the most spectacular pristine beach, the house was perfect. It was spacious, clean and well appointed with everything that we could possibly need. We have visited Eleuthera quite a few times over the last five years and one of our favorite spots is the Buccaneer (the staff is always so friendly), just a short drive from the house we enjoyed breakfast, dinner and live music on our visit. They have added a nice gift shop, which has ice cream as well. Eleuthera is a beautiful island with the most beautiful beaches that we have ever seen. We love this island and the people are always wonderful friendly and kind. They have lots of great places to eat, we had Thanksgiving dinner at the 1640, Fishbones was a great spot and of course the Bougainvillea never disappoints. Make sure that you visit Normas gift shop, you will feel like you are with family when you walk through the door We have stayed in several homes on our visits and the Beachouse is a place that we will look forward to coming back to.

Paradise!

From the bottle of wine the second we opened the door to the spectacular location - we couldn’t have asked for a better trip to paradise! This house is exactly as described. Bring a small carryon bag for your trip because you won’t need more than your swimsuit and a toothbrush at this location. The beach is clean, private and the water is absolutely gorgeous. We took a few excursions but each day could not wait to return to this little slice of heaven!

Spectacular and Amazing

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Beach House. This destination and home was immeasurably incredible. Matt our host, shared detailed knowledge, contacts and ideas that enabled us to plan perfectly. Our Homeowner, Michelle had everything we could ever have needed or asked for in this beautiful home. Perfect location

The house was perfect for 6 friends staying a week. The house was beautiful and comfortable with the perfect Beach right after back door. The house was well stocked and Michelle the owner was the most gracious host. The Buccaneer restaurant right down the street has great food. Matthew the property manager was also very helpful and answered every email in a time like fashion. We will be back!

We just returned home this evening and we are already planning a trip back. The house was in a perfect location on a beautiful quiet beach. The house was very clean and spacious. The property manager it was outstanding and attentive. I would highly recommend this property.

We'll be back

We've stayed all over the Bahamas but this was our first time to Eleuthera. Michele's house is the best home we have rented in the entire country. She and Matt could not have made our stay any more enjoyable in spite of a tropical storm and a 6 p.m. COVID curfew imposed on the island. Next time, the restaurants will be open (we hope) and for all of you reading this, make no mistake, this is the place for you. Excellently located, decorated, and comfortable with the beach (fantastic) and pool steps away.

Beautiful house on the best beach

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was fabulous and contained everything we needed and more. It’s located on the best beach on the island. If you don’t want to take the few steps down to the beach you can always take a dip in the pool. Michelle and Matthew went above and beyond to assist us before and during our stay. It was definitely a vacation that will be remembered. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property

This is our 5th time to Eleuthera and 5th rental house. Overall beautiful property in a great location. Well appointed with everything we needed for our visit. Just one hiccup with the heated pool , but everything else was wonderful. Plenty of room and the beach was great to walk on. The weather wasnt the greatest so we didn’t get to use the toys at all. We enjoyed the outside lounging area and the friendly kitties that visited daily. We really appreciated the starter supply of essentials as well. Highly recommended!

Fabulous house!

This house is amazing! The location is perfect. You can choose to stay by the pool or on the beach. The layout is great and very spacious. Kitchen is well equipped to enjoy meals at the house. Michele is a gracious host who makes sure your stay is perfect and that you "get what you pay for". She even had 2 bottles of wine waiting for us at check in :-) We would definietly stay at this house again!

Spectacular

The location of this well-appointed home is unparalleled. Management is great. We had to tear ourselves away to go explore other beaches, of which there are many breathtaking examples on this special island. French leave beach will always have our hearts as will this home, which we hope to visit over and over again in the years to come.
