First Time to ELH

Nice house just across the road from the Beautiful French Leave Beach People in the area are friendly. Restaurants are very good. Tippys and 1648 our faves Wish the pool at the house was heated. Then it would have been perfect. Hot tub was nice and warm.

Our house mgr Justin was EXCELLENT!!! The house was fine, but just fine. The pictures are old and house is in need of some TLC and updating.

The house is beautiful and is not lacking anything! It is just steps away from a beach that is not crowded and is so beautiful! We were so excited to visit this island, and being able to stay in this house made it worth the trip! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

Family Getaway

My family had a great time at the property. The amenities like pool, hot tub, gym equipment, media area, and games, enhanced the overall experience. The bedrooms were spacious, kitchen well equipped and bathrooms were quite modern. AC units cooled everywhere nicely. The property was just a few minutes' drive to shops, and beach access was also just a short walk across the street. Two of the bedrooms had minor roof leaks after two days of heavy rains. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very room and comfortable. Beach access is within a one minute walk.I would suggest updating some of the bathrooms and the refrigerator is in need of some mantainence. Sheets and pillows are well worn and need replacing.The layout is perfect for families or multiple couples.

Good time with family

The property need a lot of improvment, renovation. Lot of ants in the kitchen. Need of new towels and new sheets for all the beds, swimming pool was dirty, need a generator when it is out of power again and again.

A Magical Week at SeaWalk

This property was as advertised. Sea Walk is situated on Banks Road, a short drive into Governors Harbor (where you can enjoy a number of modern conveniences) and yet secluded enough that you felt somewhat alone in the world. A short walk down a path led you to one of the prettiest beaches in the world, where it was unusual to see more than one other family. The beach was the start and end of each day; quiet strolls with a drink in hand either with the kids, or while they stayed back and frolicked in the nice pool and hot tub. While on the beach, you could body surf or occasionally catch the local ray swimming by... quite a sight. The house was well appointed, with nice high ceilings for good air flow, a great entertainment center upstairs for movies or sports, and a dining area on the main floor that easily accommodated all 10 of us. The bedrooms worked well; we had 2 couples, and between us 3 boys and 3 girls. The boys had one room with ample sleeping, as did the girls, and the couples had nice master suites. Tepa, the owner's representative, visited every morning to make sure we had everything we needed. We quickly became good friends with him, and all adored him. He made sure there was fresh water to drink, that the pool and hot tub were clean, and provide directions for our excursions. He even delivered the sea kayaks and paddleboards to a beach 10 miles away, and picked them up. He also did a wonderful bonfire for us on the beach our last night. We hired a chef for 4 nights (Pauline Bethel). We figured it would be more affordable than going out (in the end, it absolutely was more affordable), but we did not count on how much we grew to love her and her sister and husband. They became like family. She shopped for the groceries, cooked, and cleaned up, and we also learned a ton about the island from her and Maxine and Edmond. Governors Harbor is an ideal spot to explore the island. Lots of local flavor, and convenient to go north (to Harbor Island) or south (to Rock Sound and Tarpum Cay). The owners of the house (Skip and Jackeline) were responsive and wonderful. The person through whom we communicated pre-arrival (Matthew Simon) and his crew gave great advice on rental cars, chefs, and what to do on the island. We can unequivocally say that we would do this vacation over again in a heartbeat; it was nothing short of spectacular.

The pool, hot tub and location make it a must stay. The house is well equipped. It has numerous pool/ beach amenities. The kitchen has everything you would want or need. The new owner continues to make positive improvements each year. They hosts are very gracious and extremely helpful. They check in with you to make sure everything is going fine. The house is always clean and in good shape. I highly recommend Sea Walk.

Get ready to load the car and drive to find the beach on the leeward side.Sea Walk was perfect for us. It is NOT a "New Beach Villa"(maybe 8 or 10 years old) but everything worked, it was clean, comfy beds, A/C was great, and had all kinds of space, extra towels, coolers, chairs. Pool was great, Skylink internet was great. There is great value in the house and its priced appropriately for what is available. The banks road location is also great because the Ocean beaches are awesome, short trip to multiple liquor stores and food shops. House was great and we plan to rent it again.

Easy quick walk to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs are provided as well as coolers. The house is very well stocked and having the pool is a great way to end your day. Misty and her son Justin were wonderful. Any questions or concerns were answered immediately. The only complaint is the lighting in the bathrooms. Hard to see to put on makeup.

We left home in freezing weather and were a bit chilly the first few days of our trip. Then the sun came out for a glorious remainder of our time. This house is incredibly well stocked and organized. Our two adult children with children both wanted to stay here and the house was perfect for that. One big room upstairs and another big room downstairs allowed each to have their own space and the house accommodated the grand children. The pool was a huge draw. They spent hours in the hot tub and then jumped in the pool. It was not working at first. If that happens to you don’t despair. It DOES work and might just need an adjustment. Misty iwas very accommodating, doing grocery shopping before our arrival. The house was spotless. We drove all up and down the island (100 miles long) to see every beach and have every experience (spear fishing, snorkeling, swimming with the pigs etc). The island is actually too long with too much driving. But one could stay at this house all the time enjoying French Leave beach with short forays into Governors Harbor for the Friday Fish Fry, some shopping and a look at the adorable village. We highly recommend Sea Walk, their team and this island. Thank you for a memorable experience.

The easy access to the beach was incredible. We had chef Horatio cook the most delicious meal for the 7 of us which was one of the highlights of our week. We also went fishing and caught some delicious fish which we prepared another night. The kitchen is set up with lots of appliances, dishes and glasses. The weather couldn’t have been better. We are all experiencing the Eleutheran Blues today! Thank you Misty for being so accommodating and attentive to our questions. We would all definitely come back to Seawalk again!

Amazing location; lovely home however....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Thrilled with the location and cleanliness of the home. Drawbacks: (1) Internet is horrendous so don't think you can use this location as a work/ vacation option. You will be disconnected barely able to access emails. Many might agree good to be completely disconnected while on vacation however worthy to note. (2) Pool was not clean (sides discolored/ dirty and completely green with algae) and surrounded by nesting wasps and bees in the tiled wall connecting the main pool to the hot tub. Although Misty was extremely attentive and truly tried to accommodate cleaning and exterminating, the island moves at an island-pace and there was no remedy during our stay. We walked around the home and discovered at least seven wasp/ bees nests (each the size of a catchers mitt) very visible under the 2nd floor eve. Thank goodness we were a group of adults and not with children which would have been brutally disappointing in not being able to use the pool or the surrounding areas near the connected hot tub.(I gave the property a 4-star rating and not 5-star only because of the condition of the pool.)I still would recommend this property as the location was amazing, the cleanliness of the home exceptional and the pool and wasp/ bee situation with consistent attention by the homeowner, easily remedied.

FABULOUS stay in BEST location

Sea Walk was an incredible property foot steps away from one of the best beaches in Eleuthera (there are so many). The 4 rooms with up and downstairs living is great for a group. I was one of 4 and it was the perfect stay for us. The house included condiments and a great kitchen with appliances and tools for all the cooking you would want to do on your trip. The concierge (Justin & Misty) went above and beyond the entire time always responsive and helpful towards our every need. The hot tub was perfect for our winter stay. The heating and air in the house worked very well which is important in the Caribbean. WiFI was not that strong as 3 of us in the group needed to use it for work but we made do and after all it was a vacation. French Leave Beach is stunning with long pink sandy shoreline. I liked being on the Atlantic side
