Best Vacation Ever

Aqua Villa is a beautiful property and is exactly as described. The view from the deck will be your screen saver as you move through out the house. Easy access to an amazing beach where we snorkeled and took the Kayaks out. We saw many different kinds of fish, a sting ray and even a small Lemon Shark. The house is centrally located so we were able to drive to both the southern and northern parts of the island with ease. Grocery stores, shops and some of the best restaurants are all within a 10 minute drive. We had a few minor issues but the homeowner was quick to resolve them. We had the time of our lives staying in this beautiful home. We would definitely stay here again.

Endless Euphoria in Eleuthera

3rd trip to Eleuthera. 1st stay at Aqua Villa. Beautifully maintained home ( kudos to owner) on the best beach on the island. Long walks on the beach, beautiful views, relaxing pool. Comfortable & inviting home, well equipped, wonderful breakfast on the deck overlooking the ocean each morning. Easy access to restaurants, & shopping. Perfect home for couples. Sonya, the Property Manager was very helpful when needed. Aqua Villa is definitely at the top of list of places to stay.

Perfect Beach Property

Great location. Beach was pretty much ours. The property is laid out very nicely. The pool is on the afternoon sun side so it stays warm. We were there in May so the ocean was warm and we really didn’t use the pool. Beach chairs are provided and perfect. Very nice living area that gave us plenty of room. Nice balcony overlooking the beach with a nice breeze. Would definitely stay there again.

Simply Exceptional

What more can you ask for...a beautifully appointed home in a phenominal location. Close enough to what you need in town, yet secluded enough to feel like you're on your own private retreat. Tropical storm Nicole tried to put a damper on our trip, but Aqua Villa provided us with a safe, sound home base. The property manager was there for any needs that arose during our stay. Aqua Villa was just perfect for our honeymoon.

Beautiful home and views!

When you walk through the front door you are struck immediately by the beautiful blue water. A view that never gets old! We were a group of four adults and found Aqua Villa to be perfect for our needs. There is plenty of room for all, both indoors and out. The house was well-equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, some spices, coffee and filters. An ice maker in the freezer was a nice bonus.. There is also a water dispenser for drinking water. Just return the empty to the grocery store and get a new one for around $7.00. There is a steep stairway to the beach so if you have mobility issues it might be a problem but there's a shower landing to stop and sit if need be. The beach is lovely. Smooth white sand and a gentle slope to get in and out of the water. Pool area is nice with umbrellas and four lounge chairs and also a covered area. First time travelers to Eleuthera be advised, food and dining out is expensive. A nice meal out for four, with drinks, will run around $350 (including taxes and tips). The grocery store in town only takes cash so bring extra. We loved this home, as did our friends who were first time visitors. We look forward to our return to this beautiful island and it's wonderful (always helpful and pleasant) residents!

Fantastic find. Amazing location and views.

The house was just superb. It was really well stocked and clean. We could not really have asked for more. Well maybe a non creaking bed base. The views are stunning and so is the beach. Enjoyed many strolls up and down. We did not manage to get out to snorkel as the sea was too choppy but we did see a barracuda and a couple of trumpet fish by the rocks at the end of a stroll to the right. I would also highly recommend Totcina Allen for massage. She will come to the house.

beautiful location

The location was wonderful and the house was great except for a few few items. They will not ruin the vacation but for a $2,000,000 house some things need to be fixed. The blinds in the living areas did not work. The ceiling fans did not work correctly. The house had a generator which is a must because the power goes out on the Island the problem is that the A/C and hot water will not work when the power is out. It was fine for us but just FYI.

Paradise

Words cannot express how amazing this place is. Every morning we woke up and had our coffee on the deck overlooking the most beautiful private beach imaginable. Then we spent our days snorkeling (right in front of the house), swimming, sight seeing or hiking. The house is FULLY equipped with everything you could ever need (coolers, towels, paper towels, laundry detergent, kayaks, life jackets and SO much more. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the home is even more beautiful than it looks on the pictures. The house manager, Hewitt, is super helpful and renting his car was seamless. The owner, Steve, and the realtor are also super responsive to any questions we had. We will surely be returning!

Thanksgiving in Eleuthera

Aqua Villa is absolutely incredible! The house is super clean, located on a beautiful beach where often times we were the ONLY ones on it. The pool out back gets all sun and is an awesome perk. The house has everything you could possibly need and the island is stunning! A little slice of heaven on earth. Hewitt was amazing and Steve seemed like a great guy. Their pride of the property certainly shines through. Being able to walk to Tippy’s was also a nice bonus. We had the most amazing 11 nights at Aqua Villa and will surely be back. One thing that would be nice is portable beach chairs for those who want to venture around the island to other beaches. Thanks for a memorable holiday.

Our second visit

We decided to rent a house this time instead of resort. We enjoyed all aspects much more this trip. The house was everything we thought it would be, very spacious and modern. Hewitt does a wonderful job of managing the property and was very pleasant and friendly.

Great place!!

Stayed a week with my wife and one other couple. Wonderful property. Hewitt is literally the nicest most helpful person in the world! Water is amazing. Reefs just out back door are some of best on island. Advice: food is expensive so think about packing some even dinner items. You for sure need a rental car. Tyrone Knowles for this is fantastic. Fly into Gov Harbor if can but N Eleuth is fine. Can get fresh fish in Tarpum Bay 30 min south of Aqua Villa at pier each afternoon. Had a blast! Hope to return soon!

Perfect Property for your Trip to Paradise

Our family of 4 had the pleasure of staying at Aqua Villa, our home base for an 11-day trip to Eleuthera. The Governor's Harbour location of Aqua Villa is perfect - close to Eleuthera Supply (gas, groceries and other essentials), Da Perk, 1648 and Tippy's. The villa was more than ample with respect to size and amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to prepare breakfasts, lunches and a few dinners. Aqua Villa has a backup generator which proved key as we lost local power multiple times during our stay. The house is very energy efficient - we turned off the central A/C during the day while we were exploring and the temperature inside would never rise more than 2-3 degrees even though it was near 90 degrees outside. The deck overlooking the Atlantic is fantastic - we especially enjoyed watching storms over the ocean as well as (given that the water is so clear) sea critters that became our friends during our stay. The beach is steps away from the deck and was our personal paradise throughout the stay. There are good reefs to snorkel within walking distance and, using the two double kayaks, we were able to explore beaches and reefs up and down the coast. Another feature that sets Aqua Villa apart from other homes on this particular stretch of beach is the palapa - it provided a perfect refuge on the rare occassions where we needed a break from the sun. While we would have been very happy staying at Aqua Villa and its beach without ever leaving the villa, we did (and strongly recommend you do too) rent a 4WD vehicle and explored some of the amazing, secluded beaches on the island. Aqua Villa's central location puts virtually the entire island within an hour and a half drive in either direction. Be sure to make a day trip to Lighthouse Beach - you'll remember the beach and possibly the journey to it for the rest of your days. The people on Eleuthera are wonderful - from Hewitt (the caretaker, handyman, all-around-great-guy) to complete strangers that hitched a ride with us, everyone was super-friendly and also helpful in answering our first-timer questions. Planning and booking the trip was also a breeze, made even easier by Matt, Pam and Eleuthera Vacation Rentals - I highly recommend them. Aqua Villa's owner is also a pleasure to work with and so fortunate to own such a beautiful home. Bottom line: if you've researched Eleuthera and determined it's for you (it's not for everyone, you know) book Aqua Villa now. You will love it.
