We stayed at the villas for my son’s 9th birthday and it was a perfect place for a family!! The pool was an added bonus to the beautiful beach we had just a short walk from our front door. We rented a car from Chris who was so kind and welcoming , and he gave us directions to everywhere we needed to go. This is a great spot if you want to explore north and south Eleuthera, and governors Harbour is such a wonderful little town to explore. Hope we can come back soon!! My son says it’s the best vacation he’s ever had!

Host provided tons of excellent information about the island including grocery shopping, restaurants, etc. Chris was quick to respond to issues. Please note that the description of the house is not correct. The Sundeck is closed and they do not provide a gas grill with FREE propane as stated in the description and shown in the pictures. We had to purchase charcoal (40 for a bag), lighter fluid and matches.

Perfect Stay

This was our second time staying here. The pre-arrival communication was fantastic in the even send you a handout of the useful information about the island. The check-in process was seamless and easy, the location was fantastic to so many beautiful beaches. We will definitely return again.

Gorgeous beach with villa up the road

Chris was fantastic when we needed him. Just wish we were closer to the beach. That was my fault. Hot tub was not working and upper deck for sunset viewing was closed off too. The gas grill was a charcoal grill so we never cooked on it. Internet was great and plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. A/C worked great loved Eleuthera and the people there! We will return! Oh the rental car from Chris was great too!!!

Eleuthera family vacation

We stayed in Terminal 3 for a week. The property has a shared pool and hot tub and we were lucky that the other 2 units were not in use so we had the place to ourselves. We had come for a SCUBA vacation but the weather did not cooperate (too windy) so we were only able to snorkel which we did nearly every day - snorkeling quite good at multiple sites around the island. Definitely need a rental car for this property since it is in the middle of the island (about an hour drive south of the main international airport). We had to do a lot of driving and initially thought it might have been better to stay further north. However, as the week passed we were able to explore many beaches from north to south tips of Eleuthera so the location was actually quite good. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small (but adequate) and the kitchen is well stocked with most everything you need. It takes a couple of tries to find groceries that you need but worth cooking in a bit because even casual restaurants are quite expensive - expect to pay twice what you might pay in the states and many places prefer to be paid in cash. Overall, a reasonable place to stay - not luxurious but comfortable for a family vacation.

Overall a clean and well taken care of property. Location near airport and in the center of where we needed to be. Pool and grounds were fine. Beach in the back was stunning, although there were lots of private property signs so we were not sure if we were trespassing. Villa was adorable and had everything we needed! I’d suggest paving the road to come into the property because we had a bit of a scare coming up the hill.

Wonderful place to stay in Eleuthera!

We highly recommend this rental! It was super clean, modern, and comfortable. We found it to be a great location, close distance to Governor’s Harbour and Rainbow Bay. We had problems with the wifi when we first arrived and Chris was so responsive and resolved it promptly. We loved the pool and views from the top deck. We also enjoyed the short walk to a beautiful beach. We would stay again!

Nice place to spend a few days

Located in the center of the island where there’s not much around, except airport beach… which is incredible and secluded. We were there for several hours and didn’t see another person. The softest sand I’ve ever seen. Great beach. Once we discovered Spanish Wells about an hour drive north we spend most of two days there. Cool place. Several great things to not miss seeing on the island. Queen’s bath was the most amazing thing. Caves are cool. Restaurants and food in general is extremely expensive compared to home.

Great Central Place

We enjoyed staying here very much. Really comfortable for two people. Hot tub and firepit was nice as well as the shallow pool. Good central location for exploring the whole island. No restaurants really close but within 10 minutes. Airport next to it is fairly active during the day but didn't really bother us.

Chris is a great resource.. Governor’s Harbor offers what you need and is very near. Great starting point to explore the island north and south. In depth trip advice from the owners was very helpful. So many beautiful beaches nearby. Local residents are pleasant and welcoming.

Peaceful and Comfortable Stay on Eleuthera

Our family of 5 stayed at The Landings for our spring break vacation. The villa (we stayed in Terminal 1) was adorable and the property was just as pictured in the listing. The big surprise was that the villas are next to Governor’s Harbour Airport NOT North Eleuthera Airport where we flew into. That meant an hour drive for us to get there and also the hour drive back to the boat taxi for Harbour Island. Take note! My husband took the couch, two of my teens took one room and my other teen and I took the second room. The beds were so comfortable! The bathrooms are a tight fit but the rain showers are big. The remote controlled A/C units were so handy. The kitchen is a great size and was equipped with most everything we needed. The only things we had to buy in addition to our desired groceries were salt and pepper. The on-site laundry room came in super handy. I enjoyed the pool although the rest of my family didn’t go in - they felt like it was full of bugs. I did use the net available to clean it out some. No big deal. There were 2 hornets’ nests in 2 corners of the pool which we sprayed with bug killer after we let the housekeeper know and she had someone bring some by. She also turned on the pool filter during our second day. Unfortunately a small child staying in another one of the villas was stung on their foot by a hornet which was sad to witness. My teens used the hot tub a couple of times but it was suddenly drained about halfway through our stay and didn’t get refilled. Airport Beach is indeed beautiful. Construction was taking place in the lot before you reach the beach and the workers directed us to where the path is. It is a decent walk to the beach from the villas on rugged terrain (rocks, sand dunes, stairs covered in sand, tall grass, etc.) so plan accordingly for young children or those who may have mobility challenges. A rental car is definitely needed to stay here. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive into the town of Governor’s Harbour. We would have liked to have been closer in to town. Chris the caretaker was friendly and communicative and we got our rental car from him which worked out well. The DirectTV satellite went out 2 days during our weeklong stay which was a bummer but not the end of the world. All in all we were able to relax, explore the island and have a clean and comfy home base.

Great property in a terrific location.

Stayed in ‘terminal 1’ - very well planned accommodation - everything had been thought of with respect to what a guest might need. Good wifi, beds, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. Check in very easy - Chris was always available using WhatsApp. An excellent experience overall, and good value.
