The property was clean, quaint and was well supplied with kitchen equipment, toiletries, etc. It's a great location in terms of traveling north or south on Eluethra. Chris was responsive and his trip planner came in handy such as where to go, eat and have fun! Bahamians were friendly and helpful as well!

Great Villa

We had a great stay at the Landings. Short walk to Airport Beach and centrally located. Chris was a great host. He met us at the airport with the rental car and even helped us when we had a flat tire. We enjoyed the pool after our days at the beach. Overall great experience.

Visit the Beaches if Central Eleuthera

The Landing Beach Villa is centrally located very near the Governors Harbor airport. From the cottage you can see both the Caribbean and Atlantic, but the best part is access to Airport Beach a short drive or walk to the beach. Very well-equipped kitchen. The pool and hot tub in the center of the complex is a nice place to relax when not walking the nearby beaches.The Trip Planning document provide by the property manager is very helpful in preparing for your visit. You can pack light, as there is a full-size washer and dryer on the property. The central location allows you the flexibility to easily tour south one day and north another.

Just perfect!

Thanks to Sharon for a great experience! She took care of getting me from the airport to the boat and picked me and my luggage up at the dock. The golf cart was a great bonus to this house also. I will be back soon. ♥️

Great stay

We had a great stay at Landing Villas. The house was clean, in a great location, and Chris was very responsive. Beach at end of the road was incredible and kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub at the end of the day. House was nice and the beds were very comfortable. Owner's guide was very helpful and we had a great time exploring the beaches and restaurants.

The cottage/villa we stayed in was well designed and furnished. It was very easy to work with Chris and Ashley and the location was great. We kept running into people that said that Airport Beach which we could walk to was the nicest on the island.

Great location and property

The property was a great stay for us both location wise and set up. We were able to relax with our toddler and explore the whole island from the Landing. We enjoyed having the pool to unwind in after days at the beach and loved the proximity to Airport Beach which was a hidden gem for it's beauty and seclusion. The hosts we very responsive to communications and provided great references which we used when booking our trip and activities. We really loved our visit to Eleuthera!

Great house, but caretaker not very responsive

Our overall experience was good. As warned in the 13 page pdf document that comes with the listing, the power can go out. It did because of a severe thunderstorm our 1st night. It was restored by the authorities the following morning, which compared some other places I know, was very fast. have given the place a 5 start rating if it hadn't been for poor communication with the care taker and some maintenance issues. The house on the inside is great. Clean, comfortable had all supplies we needed (minor issue with the kettle leaking). The outdoor space looks good, but some aspects are not well maintained. While the pool was clea, however the chair cushions had mold, there were no functioning umbrellas at the pool. For going to the beach there one umbrella and one chair were broken. The other chair was partially broken, but still useable. There was no light from the parking space to the entrance gate. The Direct TV and Chrome cast stop working within 24 hours of each other. We notified the caretaker of all thr above. He was very slow to respond (average of 8 hours or more), if he responded at all. That was our biggest issue. Overall, it was a good experience.

Peaceful, comfortable hideaway in a glorious sunrise beach location

Overall we had a great experience. Peaceful place with beautiful beach 5 mins away. Deck are and pool was clean and inviting. Super tip sheet supplied by owners. Car rental a must to sight see and go to restaurants (some nearby). Only downside was the very rocky driveway into the property. But don't let this put you off stating here

Peaceful paradise

The property is very well maintained, comfortable and peaceful. The location is nice because it’s not far from Governors Harbour but much more peaceful and less busy. I highly recommend !

Landing beach villas

“Terminal 2” at Landing Beach Villas was perfect for our Eleuthera trip. We wanted to explore BOTH sides of the island, so the location was ideal. Everything was clean, almost as if it was brand new. Chris met us at the airport with our rental car and answered any questions we had. We flew in to ELH on the north side of the island, but would definitely arrange flying into GHB for our next trip - it is right across the street-but we never heard any airport noise. We saw the sunset from the front porch and could see the ocean on the other side of the island from the back. The pool is beautiful but we spent all our time exploring and never used it.

Great place

My family and I had a great time. We pretty much used google maps and found restaurants and stores very easy once we figured our way around. The pool and the hot tub at the villa was nice. Everything mentioned on the site about the villa was spot on. Also the property manager Chris was nice and helpful with things and beaches to visit.

Fabulous all around

Our trip to Eleuthera was the absolute best vacation we have ever been on. The island is amazing. The Landing Villas are very clean and centrally located. Chris was fabulous! He took us to swim with the turtles. We went sailing one day- which was very beautiful and relaxing. Ten Bay beach is our favorite for sure. We also enjoyed Gaulding Cay Beach and Rainbow Bay Beach. We went snorkeling several times. We found dozens of sand dollars and collected many beautiful shells. We visited Ocean Hole and Sapphire Blue Hole, Preachers Cave and Hatchet Cave. Queens bath and Glass Window Bridge were comparible to no other. The only negative- Spanish Wells was a disappointment to us. We were expecting more. Tippys was awesome- we went twice. Sunset Grill was good. We ate at Twin Brothers, Rainbow Inn and a few others. 1648 Resturant was top notch. It was our favorite. The sun rises and sun sets were stunning. The blue waters are gorgeous. We highly recommend Landing Villas. Free laundry, pool, hot tub, stocked kitchen. We will be returning for sure!

Great Find

We a wonderful experience during our week long stay at the Landing Villas. Chris and his team are super professional, kind, helpful- the list goes on. The villas are just as described. Our kids loved the pool. Airport beach is beautiful. However, with having 2 young boys (ages 7 and 8), we found that the beach across Queens Highway was the perfect location for us (Cocochina(?) Beach). We swam and snorkeled multiple times and the kids saw lots of cool fish including a barracuda and star fish. We also did the pigs and turtles excursion which was a blast! The villas are centrally located on the island, which is nice and convenient when wanting to explore the different parts of the island. I would love to return one day!

Good for a short stay

The unit itself was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked ok- bathrooms were miniscule. There were not any tiki hut/shade palapas on the beach as advertised. I live in a hurricane prone area so I know about storm damage but the listing and house information should reflect that change. Also, there is a large construction project going on adjacent to the beach area for this home which greatly diminished the appeal of the beach nearest the house so we went to other beaches. My friend and I had both traveled to Eleuthera before but a first time visitor might have been disappointed by not knowing about the beach construction. Chris was very nice, helpful and promptly replied and assisted with the one issue we had during our 4 night stay. As a frequent user of vrbo for many years I think it is a shame that visitors don't feel comfortable giving honest reviews and all owners feel they must have a "5"- not every place is a "5" and that is fine. I prefer some honest assessments myself when I read reviews and am perfectly capable of deciding what is credible. This was a convenient, clean and nice place- quiet since we were there mostly by ourselves during our stay. We very much enjoyed our time on the island.

Nice getaway, central location

We enjoyed our week in Eleuthera, staying at The Landing Beach Villas. It was a nice spot for us to sleep and eat in between lots of much needed beach time. Clean with comfortable beds and air conditioning, and central location to a lot of places on the island. The beach down the road is beautiful, but we had to find an alternate way to access it as the dunes right at the end of the "road" are very steep with soft sand and overgrown plants. We found a better way by taking a right before the end of the road and there is another semi-cleared path to a less steep beach entry. But all of this is typical Eleuthera...undeveloped beauty that you have to work a bit to access. Also, 99% of the time we went to other beaches anyway which were also amazing. So prepare to pack up the rental car and explore the island, which can be a good bit of driving since the island is long and skinny. That said, we also enjoyed the pull offs (from Queen's Hwy) to the beach right below GHB airport where there is some decent snorkeling right off the beach. In these very calm waters is where my 16 yo daughter got practice snorkeling as it was her first time. We had a great trip and thank the responsive Marielbys and Chris for the accommodations and car rental.

A Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I rented this lovely villa to celebrate our wedding anniversary with one other couple and everything was clean and just as it was advertised. The hosts were extremely accommodating and provided us with tons of information well in advance of our trip to ensure that we had everything that we needed. Thanks for a lovely stay! We look forward to our next trip to Eleuthera and would definitely recommend you to other travelers.

Quaint, Lovely Place

Very clean, well stocked with necessities (including an espresso maker that made me quite lovely lattes each morning!), and an attentive caretaker. We enjoyed ourselves a great deal.
