There was no air conditioning which was my fault that I did not look to confirm it but most places do have it. The hot tub was a yellowish green color but the owner got someone out quickly that cleaned it. The house was big but could use a good cleaning.

We had a great long weekend celebrating a 50th birthday. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed afternoons in the hot tub and evenings by the fire pit or by the fire in the living room. Beds were comfortable. Will definitely be looking to book again but bringing our teenage children to enjoy the lake and area.

This house was perfect for a larger group of friends. Plenty of beds, a roomy living room, and a fire pit out back. Was a short ride into Scranton and breweries. You will have to bring your own sheets, towels, and toiletries though, but they were upfront about that. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The house was very nice! Host very attentive! A few things needed some attention like light bulbs needed replacing, front porch light sensors need to come on faster, hot tub water was dirty and unfortunately our last day we found bed bugs!

Family vacation

Lovely house big enough for our family of 8. So much to do at the house and on the lake. We made daily use of the kayaks and canoes and enjoyed fishing right from the river bank. Thanks to Joe & Leanne for sharing your beautiful home! Looking forward to staying again

We booked the house for a Memorial Day weekend with our family. The house was just as it was advertised. Plenty of room and nice and close to the lake. The house just had the kitchen redone and was great. We had everything we needed and plenty of room to cook. Unfortunately it rained most of our trip so being in the woods it was a bit muddy but we made the best of it. The house has plenty of room for your family to enjoy different activities to do. The fireplace was great due and we used it to keep the chill out of the air. They had plenty of wood more than we needed. The hot tub was just amazing the owners emailed us that they just replaced it and we loved it. We brought our fishing poles and went fishing on the lake which is down the Hill behind the house. Be careful the hill is very very steep but it’s manageable just go slow. We caught a lot of fish bass, crappie and tons of pickerel. We are hoping to come back again. Great home if you love the country feel and woods.

House made a rainy vacation a success!

The entire family had a great time. The accommodations were spacious and perfect for everyone from an infant to a great-grandmother! We were surprised at first that there was no air conditioning, but the fans and beautiful wooded lot made everything very comfortable. Would go back in a heartbeat!
