"Beautiful quiet location close to the area of Acadia we wanted to visit. I was unable to use my chair at dining table. There was bolt missing. I reported it and didn’t worry about it since short trip. But the noticed my husband chair was also missing bolt. Not major deal but found it odd that both chairs were not secure for usage. "

"This is a great place to get away from it all. It was really nice to have a place on the water and sit around a campfire in the evening. The house/cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. There aren't any stores or restaurants nearby, so stop at a grocery store in Ellsworth. There might be some firewood left by others, but it would be best to purchase some camp wood on the way. It is sold by seemingly everybody. Bar Harbor is an hour away by car. "

"My son and I were looking for a unique and fun place to stay. It was magical, the property had a Forrest adjacent that looked like it came out if a fairy tale. The township surrounding was down to earth with unique options. We loved exploring the Schoodic Peninsula, then taking a drive to Bar Harbor and Sand Beach. "We’ve have stayed at many VRBO’s, this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. John and Ann went above and beyond making sure our home was well stocked, clean and comfortable. "We had an amazing stay at this location! The directions given to us to find the property and to enter the house were simple and easy. The beds were VERY comfortable and the extras that were there were beyond what we could ask for. My kids loved the outdoor games in the shed and the WALL of games that were available!
