The host thought of everything and the cottage was so clean it felt like we were the first people who ever rented the unit. We walked into town several times and loved the location. Simple things like picking up trash, removing broken lawn furniture, etc. Trash between the main house and the studio appears to have been there for quite awhile. The cooler provides on the deck was full to the brim with water. No idea if melted ice from use or ???? If the owner/manager would do the simple things this could be a 5 star property. "Rebecca’s place was wonderful. The apartment was incredibly clean, beautifully and creatively decorated with thought and style and the surrounding area was both quaint and picturesque. We spent Labor Day weekend there and experienced “Illuminattion Night” which was very cool. Rebecca made some great recommendations, and although it’s right next to a marina, it was incredibly quiet. We would love to stay again. "

Not exactly walking distance to most places, biking is possible, but we found that even in high season we could always find parking at the close beaches, Woods Hole, and Falmouth with minimal effort. The house was beautiful and very comfortable for 8 adults. The full baths were spacious with plenty of storage and the half bath and outdoor shower helped with 8 adults sharing.
