"We had a wonderful stay at Skellig Bay Cottage! The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for relaxing in front of the views and short day trips to all of the sights. Our favorite part of the house was the large ocean front window. We all took turns sitting in the comfy chairs reading a book or just taking in the scenery of sheep and ocean. Thank you for a great stay in the Ring of Kerry!"

"The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay."

"A fantastic experience. The beach for the children was a homerun! They spent all day hunting for lipids, mussels & clams. The sauna was going was so refreshing after a dip in the pool and bay. A daily ritual. Seal cottage was lovely and most comfortable. Tomas and Margrite(sp) were very helpful. We were there for over 3 weeks and hated to leave! We will return. 5 stars!"

"Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei unserer Ankunft am frühen Abend war schon der Kühlschrank gefüllt für Abendessen und Frühstück! Der Garten ist groß und sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet. Ideal auch für Familie mit Kindern! Die Heizung hat super und schnell funktioniert und ebenso problemlos der offene Kamin!Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen."

"The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . The water took a long time to heat for a bath … We walked on local footpath...

"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! "Very spacious house with wonderful views. Comfortable and under floor heating meant always right temperature. Liking a log fire, this never needed. Being Kerry, one needs to be prepared for all weathers. This house very well suited to sitting in for hours -days where that weather forbids going out. "Beautiful house, immaculate. Spacious rooms and large walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen, warm. No satellite TV unfortunately. Great views all round, the sea and the mountains. Very welcoming with owners parents next door if we needed anything. It would have been useful to have a signpost to the property as we did get lost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."
