Wonderful Stay!
This lovely place fit the needs of my extended family from my 85 and up year old parents to the young adults. Comfortable in every way; well-supplied and organized; spacious and sparkling clean, it was ideal for our long weekend. Sandy was very responsive before and during our stay. We very much appreciated staying here!

Perfect location for a relaxing getaway
We stayed at Tim and Sandy’s beautiful home the week of my son’s wedding in Solon Springs. The quiet, remote location and beautiful home couldn’t have been more perfect to get away from all the wedding chaos! The home was sparkling clean, well stocked and the beds were super comfy. And when we, unfortunately, hit a deer on our way home from Lake Superior one evening, Sandy was so helpful in providing us with a place to store everything from the truck before it got towed away the next day. She was quick to respond to all our questions and helped to make a bad situation a bit more tolerable. If I could rate her and the home a 10 out of 5 I would! If we are ever in the area again, this is where we will stay without a doubt!

A family Affair
Perfect for of family of 6 adults and an 18 month old toddler along with two well behaved dogs! Beautiful setting. Very peaceful— felt like we had the entire area to ourselves along with the egrets, hummingbirds, and great blue herons. Very well stocked with all the necessities and a bit more!

Relaxing and peaceful
We had such a wonderful time staying at your cabin. Our family had such an awesome experience. The views from the dock were amazing. Our 6 year old daughter caught so many panfish from the dock we lost count. Very secluded, only saw one boat drive by the dock the entire time we were there. On the last night we even saw a bear swimming from the island to the main land about 400 yards away! Will definitely try to come back again! Thanks again!

Lovely Weekend at the Lake
If you're looking for a relaxing weekend away with beautiful lake views, look no further! How do I even begin to summarize? ... Very clean and well-stocked home, comfy beds and pillows, great fishing off the dock, kid-friendly (life jackets and plenty of games/activities provided), private and quiet setting, etc. One thing my family especially enjoyed about this property were the nightly fires - options for indoor wood-burning fireplace if rainy, deck gas fire ring (no smoke/bugs/near baby monitors) or a backyard bonfire with smores - all have great views of the lake! The bedroom/bathroom layout was perfect for a family of five on the main level (master has plenty of room for a basinet or pack n play set-up), with privacy for grandparents (or another couple) to stay in the lower level. Separate bathrooms and TV rooms on each floor too. Overall, we were so content that we didn't even venture out to the nearby state parks or utilize the kayaks at the property, which we were hoping to do. Highly recommend and would no doubt rebook again in the future!
