Simply the Best!
We had a group of friends, my partner, and our daughter stay over new years to bring in 2024. We were all blown away with the place and all of the amenities on offer. We felt completely at home and everything was so seamless. The rooms were absolutely lovely and the bathrooms were so clean. The whole layout of the house worked so well for a large group and the seating as well for everyone was a huge plus. We really valued this stay and we hope to be back again to maybe bring in 2025! Definitely book this place! It was simply the best!

A wonderful place to stay even with bad weather!
A very well positioned, stocked, and comfortable house for the extended family over Christmas week. Mike and Jill have set up a home away from home (and a home with media room, table tennis, music system, etc. at that!). The weather was awful but we had lots of areas where we could come together for games, or go off for some quiet time. Would recommend this house to anyone wanting a relaxing time away - wherever the weather.

Never disappoints!

Luxury house
Beautiful house. Well set out ideal if you have children as there is a lovely backyard with a cubbyhouse that is fully enclosed as well as a playground just across the road. Plenty of space and great cinema room.

Fantastic
We were a family of 5 adults and 7 children, ages ranging from 11 to 4. The kids enjoyed the house so much they didn’t want to leave. Fantastic home, not far from the golf course and playgrounds. Perfect home.The adults loved the home. I would love to live there if only i could afford it.

Satisfied Customers
The house was great and could fit us comfortably. The house had everything you needed with lots to keep everyone entertained, from the adults to kids aged between 3-12yrs. Location was awesome too as it was right across from the park. Could defiantly see us staying there again and the owners a really lovely too.

Had a fantastic stay highly recommend 13 of us stayed and was still plenty of room to not be on top of each other. kids are well looked after theatre room a treat for the owner was lovely very helpful will stay again.

Such an amazing beautiful house set in a lovely location.
Owners of this property were absolutely amazing they made contact with us before our stay and gave us all the details we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The house was amazing big kitchen and living areas. The media room was a hit. Very clean and tidy will definitely be going back to this lovely house. Lovely views, plenty of room for Adults & kids to relax & enjoy each other's company, room for the kids great park across the road too they all loved the theatre room,well set up kitchen & living area wanted for nothing ...only thing it was a bit warm on our last nite I would suggest possibly some pedestal fans to circulate the air as it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping as there was no air flow.

Thanks for the review Dawn, we’re glad you had a great stay. At night time we open the windows in the bedrooms and turn on the evaporative air cooler and get a breeze through the bedrooms when living room doors are closed. We hope you stay with us again sometime.

Fantastic stay in Goolwa
Well appointed home in superb location. Did not disappoint. Smaller bunk bed bedrooms slightly crammed for space but fine for a short stay. Main bedrooms were great. We had 11 adult men staying in the house on a golf trip so the one shared bathroom, toilet & shower was a challenge at times. Kitchen, lounge & dining areas were all fantastic.

The Best Time
Six old high school mates having an annual catch up via a golf trip. The accommodation was outstanding. The location could not have been better with golf course and cafe a short walk away. Town close by for meals if needed. We will be going back - nothing is more certain.

Good - could improve with minimal tweaking
Great location, well stocked house with plenty of room and owners were good to deal with. We are a group of golfing guys in our 70's and were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the place - floors were dirty and lot a dirty items were stacked in the laundry to be washed. In fairness, when we contacted the owners with a query just after arriving they asked if the property was clean. I think they have engaged new cleaners. The showers were annoyingly sensitive to adjust.

Hi Jim, sorry you weren’t 100% happy with the cleanliness. We were away in our caravan at the time and our cleaner quit on us so we had to get someone at short notice who we hadn’t used before. They wouldn’t do the washing so we told them to put it in the laundry. Apologies. Mike & Jill.

Amazing Holiday House
The property would be the ideal location for large family or group of families. The house is so big it has so many places to hang out whether this be in the Living Room, Kitchen area, verandas (side or front), home theatre room, garage with table tennis, garden, etc. It is also exceptionally well-resourced with all those things you could possibly need, the kitchen especially. The range and number of utensils available was the best I've ever seen.

A great spot for a family getaway, spacious, great facilities and thoughtful touches for guests
We had a great stay here with our extended family which included 6 kids 5 and under. This place was perfect for us, plenty of room for everyone, close to the park, lake, beach, eateries and soo much provided - especially toys for the kids and kitchen essentials (more than you would expect). The kids also loved the home theatre. Overall a great property which easily accommodated for our large group. We would definitely stay again!

This immaculate holiday house is ideal for a large group. The open plan living/dining kitchen opening out to huge decks with stunning views of the river, was perfect for our gatherings for meals. The cinema room was a hit for the mad cricket fans .Location impossible to beat. And the owners were available at all times.

Stunning property with water views and great playground directly in front
This was a perfect property for our large gathering of friends and family. This was a birthday weekend getaway for my son’s 1st birthday and his grandmother’s birthday as well. Fantastic kitchen for cooking up large meals and birthday cake, bbq on the balcony was handy. Good spot to relax on the balcony and while the older kids entertain themselves at the playground opposite. Kids also loved the ping pong table and home theatre. Not a huge fan of the Aldi pod coffee machine but there are cafes within walking distance anyway! Thanks for providing a great property!

Absolutely perfect
This house had everything we needed for our stay and the location was perfect. Our group ranged in ages from 6 to 70 and there was something for everyone. Close to the playground and river for the younger kids, while the grandparents could easily sit on the balcony and still see the fun. Jill was a fabulous host, having the perfect level of contact. Family weekend
This was the perfect house for our family. It is a short walking distance to a great family restaurant, playground and beach and the home theatre was a bonus for the younger ones. The house was very well equipped and the owners were extremely helpful.

Goolwa Getaway
Great property in a great location. We came to be close to the river and the park with playground for the kids and were here with our jet skis for the weekend so was perfectly located near the boat ramp and Bombora Cafe. Jill was great to deal with and we had a little issue with internet which was resolved quite quickly the next day. The only real negative, which may not be an issue for others, was that that there was no a/c in the bedrooms which did become stuffy in the afternoon - lucky for us the weather was pleasant for the weekend and not too hot otherwise I'd say they would heat up quite quickly.

Thanks for the review Antony, we're glad you had a good time. When it gets hot we turn the evap air-conditioner up full and open all the bedroom windows and close the doors at the front. This sends the cooling out through the bedrooms and makes them a lot cooler.

Awesome place
