Gentle Villa Retreat is a wonderful place to host a group. Our group of 27 ladies enjoyed the place, especially the pool and the hot tub. We had a movie night all in one room. We were able to all sit down an eat together and the same room was used for some group activities. The biggest thing was that there was enough parking.

Perfect Place to Escape

I (and another Adult) Took students of our youth group out here for our Fall Retreat, and I must say that this is the perfect home to get away from everything! The house is a little tucked away from everything, and provides all of the amenities you may need for some time away. Couldn't be more happy with this home as a place to get away.

Wedding Reception

For what we needed the house to hold it was accommodating but unfortunately the house was very dirty and it didn’t seem like they were prepared for us to stay there several lights were out and we had to get on the ladder ourselves to fix them because it was easier to do that then to reach out and get the obvious fixed that I feel should have been checked before hand There were a lot of roaches everywhere dead and alive and the fans on the ceiling were covered in the thick dust the rooms are very hot and the beds are very old and a few of the banister‘s alongside the stairs are very rickety and are almost falling off of the hinges The outside area was spacious and we were able to set up most of our stuff outside, we were told on our initial visit months ago that the people next to us were squatters and that they would get that taken care of before we came for our wedding party unfortunately I don’t think that happened as there were several people biking and walking by to our neighbors house and suspicious activity was overheard be prepared as the downstairs area is very cold and there are no blankets I would advise you to bring your own a lot of the surfaces are grimy and could use a deep cleaning the kitchen was stocked with several pans but I would advise you to Bring any spices or even cooking oil with you as that is not provided or at least made aware of that it is still good to use.

Fun Getaway

Overall the kids and adults enjoyed the get together at Gentle Villa! The place came equipped with air hockey, pool table, checkers, a pool, hot tub, playground, fire pit, BBQ pit, and hammocks so there was plenty to do at the house. The place does sleep a lot of people as every room has two bunk beds. Thanks for renting us your place!

Overall Great Experience

The neighborhood was a little "shady", but we had no problems. Our only complaint was the mattress. Most of them need to be replaced. The good: Very clean, professional hosting, great amenities, AC worked great.

Spacious and peaceful place

Our group of 10 adults and 12 kids enjoyed our stay at the Gentle Villa so much. The hosts are very cooperative, kind and accommodating. And the house it is very spacious and cozy. The air hockey table, the table pool, the swimming pool and the jacuzzi were all great. There are also many card games. You can reconnect and have fun all with out the need to leave the house. So this place is great for a restful vacation or reunion. we would really recommend it to others. A couple of things I would say needs attention from the hosts is the rest room in the downstairs bedroom and mattress boxes on top bunk beds. The drainage is not good. And even though there is a plunger provided, that was not enough. We had to stop using it at all. Some of the bunk beds have mattress boxes on the top beds. We thought it was not safe to let kids sleep on those beds because the mattresses are raised above the guard rails. All in all we are very happy with our stay. We didn’t have any issues that we were not able to manage.

Awesome place

This house was amazing. It had everything we needed for the large group we had. The kids loved the pool and the games. There was enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves while not having to be on top of each other. I would definitely stay again.

Big Beautiful House

Had a great time at this property, especially with the surprise pool! Had a small hiccup with the lock, but was able to get in. Property was clean and huge. The conference room was so great for games and movies. The sitting rooms were spacious.The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment. The loft rooms were a little odd and wouldn't be great for older or disabled people, but were fine for the people we put in them.

Superb place for group retreat or family gathering.

The property is a superb place for a group retreat with about 20 people or a big family gathering. It has ample beds. Cozy and many entertaining options with pool table, hot tub, newly added swimming pool, fire pit, picnic tables, play grounds, hammock beds, and many others. The place is clean. The host is excellent. I recommend this place highly!

Great place for large groups

We had a friends reunion with 12 adults and 16 kids. We had an absolutely fabulous time. There was more than enough to do in the house and on the grounds. We really appreciated having enough beds and eating space for everyone. Unlike most large rentals there were tons of bedrooms and everyone got a twin. We will definitely stay here again in the future. We thoroughly enjoyed having the space to spread out and the amenities were great. A few notes when deciding to stay here: 1. Almost all bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are fairly steep. It wasn’t a problem for us. It was awesome for having separate spaces and blocking sound but not so great if you’re planning to bring grandma. 2. The internet is really spotty. Great if you’re just looking to relax but definitely not reliable enough for working remotely. 3. Some of the beds do not have true spring mattresses. It didn’t bother most of us, but definitely check your bed before agreeing to your bedroom if having a futon style cushion won’t work for you. A huge thank you to the hosts. We had an amazing time!!

Amazing

This house is so big and awesome we loved it all. The was surrounded by nature and it was just beautiful we didn’t want to leave. It does have a lot of stairs we you’ll get your work out and the have area for party get other or church services with maybe tables that we really enjoy!

Nice spacious home for the family to all spend time together

My parents have 3 kids and it’s rare that all of us and our families get to come together with our parents. They were so happy to have all of us under one room! Fun times with so much love and laughter! The property was perfect to host us all and even the kids had a great time! Thank you!!!

Great for large families!

We had a great time during our stay. The owners were quick to respond to questions we had before we arrived, and they left a binder that clearly described check-in and check-out. The WiFi was a little slow, but not terrible, and honestly it was nice to have less internet access. After all, we were there to see family, not our devices!
