We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Communication beforehand was excellent. The house has everything you need, and the location is perfect for skiing. Oh, and coffee filters and a coffee grinder are provided. We would love to come back again. Thank you!

I came here with 5 friends (we are in our early 30s) for a ski trip at kickinghorse. Everything was amazing. Super easy to access the gondola from our room. We would ski in for lunch and then ski back out. Could not recommend this place enough!

Really enjoyed our stay here. You can't beat the location — getting to and from the slopes was a breeze, and coming back to the hot tub after a day of skiing was the perfect way to unwind. The whole group loved it.Just a couple of minor notes for the host: the microwave handle was broken and a few lights were burnt out. Easy fixes that would really polish up the guest experience.Overall a solid rental and we'd definitely come back.

This place was perfect. A couple steps off the driveway and we skied to the gondola. Great hosts and a perfect spot. We really wanted ski in and out & a quiet place. It could not have been better.

Overall great stay here. Good location. Lots of towels and other amenities provided, well stocked kitchen so we could make breakfast every day. Hot tub and fireplace were great. Even though some of the neighbours were mound outside, the inside was nice and quiet. Probably a slight negative is there were too many detailed instructions, and felt we had to do a bit much for checkout considering we paid a cleaning fee. But overall I would recommend this place.

Family trip from Michigan

We had a great trip to the Banff/Golden Area. The condo fit our family perfectly. Having the hot tub at the end of the day to relax in was a huge hit as well. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Even though we had to do a little more driving, the accommodations made it worth while. It took some planning, but we were able to leave in the morning and be gone most of the day to see and hike many sights. Way more affordable here than staying in Banff area with a family of 6 young adults. You do get your exercise going up and down the stairs, but main floor master was perfect for parents and we made the kids do the climbing. We would go back.

Incredible views and beautiful home!

The home was gorgeous and very comfortable. The views from the hot tub deck were incredibly beautiful and the view from the master bedroom of the ski slopes was also wonderful. We could easily walk to the Pioneer chair each morning and skied back every afternoon. We had everything we needed. The communication was very prompt and kind.

Fantastic ski weekend!

Some friends and I rented Bear’s property for a low-key ski weekend. The process was simple and we really enjoyed our stay. Easy to get on/off the hill and we were able to put together some great meals after a post ski hot tub.

Great place, real ski in ski out. It was not so clear that the name of the property "selkirk 17" also refered to the door number. When we arrived at the adress and realised that there were multiple cottage with the same adress we had to look a bit before checking in. The internet was really bad, almost impossible to use...

Destination Wedding

Friends kids were getting married at the top of the mountain. This was a convenient location and layout and the owners were easy to deal with. Overall the unit was very nicely appointed. The only reason I gave it four stars was the master bathroom shower head needed some work. I'm sure it will be taken care of. Would recommend it

Convenient location for skiing

5 adults stayed here for a skiing trip. It is a short walk to ski. The hot tub was very nice after a day of skiing. The kitchen is small if you like to cook. It would have been nice if there was a TV to watch movies in the evening or catch a hockey game. There is really nothing to do after the ski resort closes down in the afternoon.

Nice condo

The condo was nice and clean, nice furnishings, and communication with the host was excellent. The location was central to both Yoho and Glacier parks. This would be a great condo for a family… for two couples, not as ideal as second and third bedrooms were very small. We also weren’t aware that the restaurant and gondola were shut down mid October. But would recommend for other times of the year!
