This was the best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in. Anything and everything you would need on vacation. It was a longer walk than expected for both the ski in and ski out. Would highly recommend.

Great, very well equipped home. All the amenities you need to have a great stay. Kitchen was the best equipped, the place has everything you'll need to have a great vacation. It's a huge house with space for everyone to unwind. Highly recommended, would come back for sure.

This was a beautiful property with plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable.There was everything you could need in the kitchen and we even cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner. The hot tub was large and comfortable, with an amazing view of the snowy trees, stars and mountains.

Check in was easy and we had no problems finding the house. Lots of room for 17 people to stay. The hot tub and pool table were great for the whole family. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. The bar was a great addition as well.

Our family of 11, ages 6-73 enjoyed the rental as a launch point for our various activities. We found Golden to be a fun town with lots to do nearby.There were a number of restaurants in Golden, but we took turns cooking in the rental and found it to be the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever visited. The appliances, pots and pans, as well as presence of foil and baggies, were all a nice surprise. We were also a little surprised that the only contact we had with the host were the directions on how to get in. After that, nothing for the entire week. There was a hornets nest in the grill that we should have been alerted to, as they had someone come out during our week to treat. We were unable to use the grill and one person got a couple of stings.Overall, we were happy with the rental and the location.

Fantastic Golden Vacation Home

One of the best designed and equipped rentals my family has ever stayed in. The house was exactly like the pictures. There was plenty of space for everyone to have some privacy but also great open spaces for family meals, gaming, just relaxing after long days of hiking. The kitchen was so well equipped. After a week in a hotel in Banff we were happy to be able to cook meals for a week in Golden. Everything was clean and worked well. The host provided lots of extras like plenty of paper products, detergents, soaps, etc. We were slightly concerned about not having AC since the temps were in the high 80s F several days but it wasn't an issue at all with the mountain breeze. All the bedrooms had extra fans in the closets but we rarely even needed them. We had four teens in our group who loved the pool table and foosball and just generally hanging out in the basement. Amazing house and great experience... thanks!

Amazing Place

If you’re in the market for a great house with tons of room this is it. The house is in the Kicking Horse resort and is close to town (Golden). Quiet, peaceful, but close to anything you could need. We used it as a base camp to go to National Parks and it was perfect. 10/10, will come back.

Lots of space

We were a group of 8 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of space to spread out. The abundance of king sized beds was much appreciated by the adults and the children thoroughly enjoyed the bunk room. We visited during shoulder season so the ski hill was pretty quiet which was perfect for hiking the cross country ski trails.

Multi-family ski trip to Kicking Horse

Fantastic property for 4 families with a swarm of kids age 8-13. The massive 5 bed bunkroom was a major hit, as was 5 separate king size beds in other rooms. House was thoughtfully appointed - e.g. sufficient dishes and silverware, trash and recycling bins throughout, lots of fridges around, two dishwashers. Host was timely in communicating, and the house instructions clear and reasonable (we've been in other properties where you hasically had to pre-clean for the cleaners). Multiple spaces and lounge/TV areas meant kids, multiple NHL games, and full dinner prep happened at the same time. The only downside is that it isn’t REALLY ski-in/ski-out. As advertised, it's a bit of an uphill hike to the gondola so really difficult if you wanted to return mid-day and head back out to the hill after. We ended up driving to lot 2 in the mornings and tailgating at lunches instead of coming back. Would 100% stay again.

Friends ski trip to Kicking Horse

Six long time friends rented this house together in February 2025 for some skiing at the kicking horse Resort as well as with CMH heli skiing in the Purcell mountains. The house was wonderful. We each had our own large comfortable room. We cooked dinner in each night and used the grill. The use of the hot tub at the end of a long ski day was also a major bonus. Other than some slight Wi-Fi issues the house was ideal and we would gladly return for a future visit.
