The Rogue River guest apartment was very nice. The grounds and pool area are gorgeous. My dog loved roaming the vast yard and I enjoyed relaxing by the beautiful pool. The apartment is clean and comfortable but on the older side. The pictures are accurate. The kitchen area is very small and it was a bit tough to prepare meals. It has a few basic appliances and kitchen essentials. The neighborhood was easy to find and nice. We enjoyed walking along the river. Gold Hill is very small but has a market and a few restaurants. Medford is close, as is Grant's Pass. The Rogue River is the main draw for this area. It was very warm when we visited so that impacted what we were able to do while visiting with our dog. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Muskrat on the Rogue River

The setting on the river is awesome! A broad lawn extends from the apartment to the river; oaks and pines frame the views; the swimming pool is landscaped to blend in with the natural setting. Birds, Birds, Birds ... what a blast to share this setting with Acorn Woodpecker family, Black Phoebe pair feeding nestlings, and beautiful Western Tanagers flirting as the female weaves a nest ... all we watched from large windows and comfortable cover decks overlooking the pool and grounds. The location just outside Gold Hill allows easy access to wineries, hikes along the Rogue, scenic drive along the Umpqua and Rogue with many vistas and trailheads, Howard Prairie with geese and cranes in the meadows. and just one hour to Crater Lake National Park. The rental is just 30 minutes from the charming home of the Shakespeare Festival and many great restaurants in Ashland ... Lithia Park downtown is pretty! Each morning I visited with a cute Muskrat on the river who was busy harvesting the "spring greens" in the shallows.ssszz

Rogue River Oasis

We loved our stay at the Rogue River Frontage cabin! The property is a very well kept little piece of paradise. Jerry was very hospitable and we loved Joanne’s paintings! It was the perfect place to stay to go visit Crater Lake!!!

Stunning piece of river property!

The pool is perfect. The yard is plush. The river is beautiful. The guest unit has everything you need. We spent most of our time outside. Lots of comfortable, scenic seating areas.

Great Weekend Get-Away!

We were visiting friends in the area and this is a fantastic location in the Rogue Valley. It is easy to access I-5, has great views, and has plenty of amenities. Thanks Jerry and Joann!

Heaven on Earth

Perfect Location!! River Front it IS! Great Host. Property is Beautiful, full of Wildlife. Rental was clean, had everything you need.. Games, WIFI & a kitchen... Caught Steelhead right on the river front... I would stay again! Thank yu for the Memories!!

Little oasis close to home

We had such a relaxing time! My husband was able to fish off the dock catching trout, steelhead and even a salmon. If your looking for great river spot, this is it!

Slice of Heaven

We’ve returned back to this incredible property in Gold Hill. The 5 acre property is breathtaking. Beautiful pool and view of the Rougue River. The apartment was so comfortable and well stocked. Along the Rogue River

This is the second year we've spent our sister's weekend there. The apartment is beautiful and the private pool just makes the whole thing for us! The only downfall is the stairs. We're all in our 60's so the stairs are a challenge

My family and I absolutely enjoyed staying at this property! It was just like the pictures, clean, great pool for our son, and the river was stunning. Great location to food and just over a hour drive to the beautiful Crater Lake. Property owners were very friendly and helpful. Amazing slice of Rogue River Paradise!

My brother in law and his family live in Rogue River. Normally, we stay with them, but it was my nephews graduation and there was a lot of family coming. So we decided to stay elsewhere. I’m so grateful we did! This place is beautiful! I was literally awe-struck! We didn’t get to enjoy going into the pool because it was still so cold, but we took advantage of the view from the deck, the chairs out riverside, and the abundant windows. The trees in the driveway are in bloom right now and even they were exquisite! Jerry greeted us on our first entry and he was very kind. Jerry, we very much appreciate you letting us use your lovely space. We are already looking forward to next year when my niece graduates!

Gold Hill Stay

The property was in a nice location. The owner allowed a few family members to come and visit with us, for a few hours one of the days, which was kind of him. The living room furnishing were a little worn looking, but clean, we also could of used a little more light in the living room though. The carpeting, could of used a refresh cleaning, I realized later they allow dogs. there. Overall we had a good time there and my family really enjoyed their visit there with us.
