    If you’re the “get away from it all” relaxing and enjoying the coastal sunsets, or “the outdoor adventurer” fishing, hiking, exploring the beaches, Rogue River Retreat is your Oregon coast vacation destination.

    Our convenient location is just across the bridge from downtown Gold Beach.

    Our 1200 sq.ft. retreat is home away from home.

Great Relxing Time

The house was cute, nicely appointed, and very clean. The furniture was comfortable, including the beds. We enjoyed the view very much, and the property around the place. The host was wonderful and helpful.

Happy Surprise

The little house was fine. The pet area was nice. I really liked the gates on the deck to keep kids and dogs safe. The best part was we were in town for the 4th of July and there were fireworks right across the street. We had an amazing view of them.

We were very comfy and felt right at home. The owner checked in with us shortly after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable! We would stay again.

Cute and comfortable

This was such a lovely little place to stay. Everything was clean and amenities were easy to find and use. The sitting room was a perfect place for our family to watch a movie while looking out at the river and bridge. Everything was close by so it was easy to go to a restaurant and grab a bite to eat. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We highly recommend this place to stay.

Comfortable Stay for 3

Our stay for two adult sisters and a small kid was comfortable and cozy. Pleasantly surprised by two bathrooms for the two bedroom unit. The spray and pressure of the hallway shower was stronger than the master bath. Owners are sweet folks who care and welcome input. Don’t forget to check out their lovely Memory Garden next to unit B!

Cute and Homey

I stayed here with my elderly mother and my twin daughters. This home was large enough for all, well decorated and close to everything. The owners were kind and attentive. Highly recommend. Right down the street from the Jerry’s jet boats.

Absolutely a wonderful find!!

Took my 90 yr old mother on a fishing trip!! After many yrs of staying in gold beach we found the best place!! Dorothy n Kenny we’re amazing!!

Great Location

Dorothy was very accommodating and friendly. The secret garden was a beautiful bonus. It’s in a great location where you can view the bridge from the windows and the porch. I loved the dog area. Will be back!

Great place for families with a dog

Dorothy's place is a great place for families like ours who want to take their beloved pup on vacation with them. Fenced in deck (with small rocky yard too) for your dog to roam outside while you enjoy the deck. Great location, great view of the river and bridge. Well stocked and Dorothy kindly provided coffee and some beverages for us. Comfy beds and living area. Even though you are on the same property as the owner you have complete privacy. Overall a great stay!

Fabulous Oregon coast!

This place made a sweet "homebase" for exploring the fabulous southern Oregon coast. Our hostess was super responsive. If we had questions or concerns..we heard right back. Sweet view of river and bridge. Some road noise. Thanks to Dorothy for everything.

Fabulous location, lovely place

The owner was very helpful and communicated back and forth with ease. Check-in was a breeze. Bed was the right firmness to be super comfortable with no residual back ache afterwards. View was one-in-a-million. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Bathrooms had all the amenities you would want such as toiletries, soap, shampoo, etc. The hard flooring makes it easy to sweep up and clean if you bring kids or pets. I travelled alone and invited two girlfriends to visit during the day while there but mostly I stayed busy enjoying the sights on the Rogue River. This seems like an ideal place to stay if you love to fish. They weren’t running at the time i was there, but next time I’ll go in April or May and see if I can land a king salmon. I’m used to renting places that are a bit cleaner than this and for less money, but overall it was a great location for me to see my Oregon friends.

Great place to stay! They welcomed me, my husband, my son and his fiance and our 5 big dogs and 1 small dog. Nice clean place, close to fishing and many beaches. Both Kenny and Dorothy were super nice. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Wonderful Property!

This place is so beautiful and close to everything! Plus great view. The manager/owner is incredible friendly and loves dogs, didn't change me for mine and included treats and bowls for him. Property it's really big and has everything you will need, really worth every penny. Thank you so much!
