Rogue River retreat

Spectacular river setting. Beautiful house with dramatic rock work. Quiet, peaceful and very clean place. Very luxurious hot tub. High ceilings and yet easy to heat. Host is very responsive. A truly unique and relaxing experience.

Perfect coastal riverfront location

Wonderful peaceful home for bird and river watching and a perfect distance from the coast to be close to town, yet inland enough to avoid the wind and cold. Close to hikes in old growth forests and river launching spots. Bring binoculars and a blow up boat and you are set.

Beautiful Lodge Style Home Overlooking the Rogue River

We fell in love with this home! It was all on one level and very spacious. Rock walls and natural wood in main living areas. Floor to ceiling windows in the dining room and living room areas with an outstanding view of the river and valley below. We so enjoyed the birds and other wildlife that visited or flew by each day! The house was a wonderful location for our daily outings to Bandon, Port Orford, Gold Beach, Brookings/Crescent City areas. The beauty of our southern coast is outstanding and awe inspiring! The house was well stocked and the dining room table was perfect for playing cards! Clare was very responsive and helpful regarding the couple of inquiries we had. Could not have asked for better!

View is Spectacular and the Rouge adds too it.

We were staying our last 3 nights here after a 10 day trip for our 25th anniversary. You could sit on the deck and listen to the birds that would sit on the trees feet away from the deck.

Special getaway

We just wanted a getaway to relax and enjoy our time together. This was the perfect setting. We could monitor the preteens in the hot tub from the living room, watch the jet boats go up and down the river, and enjoy the wildlife we spotted! The kitchen was a dream and we utilized the oven and BBQ for meals! It was the perfect setting and we totally enjoyed our time! Karen

Bachelorette Getaway

This place was perfect for a bachelorette weekend getaway. The back patio overlooked the Rogue River, and there was plenty of wildlife and views. We used all the amenities: hot tub, kitchen appliances, streaming services, etc. We took day trips down to the redwoods, saw some beautiful sunsets, and even had a night out at Hunter Creek Tav. There was brief trouble with the door code on arrival, but Clare quickly answered the call and corrected the issue. She was available for contact throughout our entire stay. Highly recommend! I would come back just for a nice weekend by myself!

Stunning Views of the Rogue River!!

Views to take your breath away! Loved the peaceful location in the trees above the Rogue River! Multiple decks and windows for non-stop views. Everything you need, clean and comfortable. Slept so well in the comfy master bedroom. Great spot for exploring the southern coast. Would definitely stay here for a return trip. Clare provided great communication for our arrival. Absolutely perfect!!!

Fun in the Rogue

Claire, our host, was right on top of making our stay delightful. She sent suggestions for dining and things to do in the area well before our arrival so we could make our plans. Check in was a breeze, the property was sparkling clean and comfortable, well appointed and had a beautiful view of the Rogue River. Our group of 6 were ‘very happy campers. Thank you, Claire!

New Years Wedding!

This place is amazing! We got to spend the last day of 2022 and the first day of 2023 here. We got married in the gazebo overlooking the Rogue River on January 1st, 2023!!! It's such a beautiful and peaceful home. The kitchen amazing... the decks... the views.... the windows everywhere!! Pictures don't do it justice... I would highly recommend staying here. Clare is a great host and easy to contact with any questions. We brought our echo studio speaker and set it up in the living room.... The acoustics were incredible!
