To start, when we arrived on Saturday afternoon there was a smell coming from the garage. Opened the door to stacks of garbage. Looked and smelled like they had been there for awhile. Messaged Vacasa and Vrbo. Were told they would contact local manager and it would be taken care of. Called on Sunday, received lip service again. On Monday they said to leave key in lock box it would be remedy. Came home late, still no resolution. On Tuesday we were on the phone again. around 3 in the afternoon someone showed up and removed 1 1/2 truck loads of trash. During our conversation we allerted the staff to other problems. No smoke detector in the front bedroom, (completely removed and a hole in the ceiling), main bedroom bath shower door scrapes along the the tile, lights not working on front or rear entrance, the air conditioner has to be reset every day (very concerning), there is mouse feces through out the house and garage as well as spiders and ear wigs. There are to double chairs out the back door to watch the water. One was broken with sharp edges, the other one looked ok. My husband was sitting in it when it collapsed. He was scraped up and badly bruised. I reported this and was told someone would be calling. I have never received a call after reporting twice. The customer service is lacking and I'm very disappointed with the company. I have been renting with you for years. This is the worst experience I have ever had. It looks nice from the outside, really
