Terrible customer service from Vacasa. Arrived to a dirty home and could NEVER get anything resolved with Vacasa. All they did was promise promise but never did anything. Kept waiting on the local team whom I’m sure were non- existence.

The house was not cleaned upon 4:00 pm check in. Bathrooms had toothpaste and hair in the sinks, uncleaned toilets, dirty towels. Bedroom had unmade beds. Kitchen had dirty counters, dishes in the dishwasher. Floors were dirty with hair and sand. Bedding and towels were piled in the laundry room needing to be washed. Hot tub was dirty with dirt and piles of sand at the bottom.We were offered a different house but couldn't be told the location, anything about the house and how long it would take to be ready or we could take a refund of cleaning fees if we choose to stay. We chose to stay and clean the entire house ourselves, however the cleaning supply bottles were empty and missing. It took 2 hours for someone to bring us cleaning supplies.The location was steps from the beach and the size of the house was great for our guests of 6.

Memorial Day Getaway

First time visiting the Gold Beach area. The location is gorgeous. The house is right on the beach. Easy access to the beach from the house. The house is huge and has a great layout. The hot tub was a big bonus. The only complaints were little ones, such as the fan in bedroom didn’t work, the shower drain clogged, freezer was pretty dirty, otherwise, everything else was perfect. We would absolutely return to this rental in the future.

Excellent location!

Views and ocean waves/sound were wonderful! Sea hawks, pelicans, migrating geese and seals active. Creek water meeting ocean tides was interesting. Home was clean and comfortable, couldn't locate telescope. Kids loved the garage basketball.

Wonderful beachfront getaway!

House is spacious and equipped with pretty much everything you need. Management was very responsive whenever we had questions. Check in and check out process were both very easy. Only thing I wish they would change (if possible) is that on the VRBO listing, it has the sofa bed listed as being in one of the bedrooms but it's in the living room. Everything else was wonderful though, and would definitely stay again!

Home is very comfortable, the beds are sooooo comfortable.

As terrible weather kept us inside most of our stay, it was fabulous to have a working hot tub, great views of the swelling ocean, and a big table to play games on. Local restaurants that we liked were the Barnacle Bistro and Sunset Family Pizza. We walked the beach during low tide, be careful they can catch you off guard even in low tide. We really enjoyed our visit.

Wonderful oceanfront oasis

Love this house! It’s the second time we have stayed here. Toaster was broken and we messaged with Vacasa still no toaster, towels are a little sparse- no hand towels in the bathrooms etc- minor things for an amazing location and home!!

Birthday getaway

Upon arrival the dishwasher and dryer were running. Shower had used soap and hair in the drain. Not good. Toaster, kettle, coffee maker need to be updated. Not all cups in the cupboard were clean. So basically this house needs a deep clean and attention to kitchen. Bedrooms had not been vacuumed. Otherwise we enjoyed the living room and view.

Bad Experience at Tsunami Shores, and with Vrbo & Vacasa

It should be called "Tsunami Shores" - Sebastion Shores is a creepy little subdivision. There is no guest information provided at Sunset Beach House - nothing about hot tub, television, or where to find things. Hot tub water was not clean. Lots of dust in house. Had to wait all day for hot water in the primary shower. Am really pissed that we paid Vrbo over $400 in fees - for doing absolutely nothing except book us - then paid hundreds more in fees to Vacasa. Vacasa customer service is a joke. Hated this experience. Would not recommend to anyone.

Lovely beach house

This house had plenty of space, rooms and layout for the 4 of us and 1small dog. Beds were comfy, lots of towels and extra bed linens. Kitchen had everything thing we needed. Beautiful views.

Loved it!

This place is amazing! While there are a few small maintenance issues that could be fixed (light bulbs out, loud fridge), the location and wonderful home more then make up for it. Our family and, most importantly, our dog were in heaven. The beach is literally steps away. Can’t wait to come back again!

Great house and location

House is really comfortable for family gathering or 3 couples, with 3 bedrooms with king beds and 3 bathrooms. It is amazing to be able to stay right on the ocean. *One consideration is that during our stay in October 2023, the house next door was under construction. might be some noise, mainly on week days, but workker did show up late Saturday afternoon for a couple of hours to work on the roof.

Needs new cleaners

Shower, hot tub, floors all dirty. Dishes in dishwasher, sheets smelled, blankets were still wet, bathroom sink stopped up and let’s top it off with fire alarms going off at 9pm. Fire dept had to come out and take them down! Was here last April and it’s the best house in Gold Beach but owners need to get maintenance done and hire new cleaners.

Great Beach!

Great location, walking distance to beach. It would have been a 5 star on the location, but there was construction next door which took away from being able to enjoy the patios during the day. Hot tub was great.
