Overall this was a nice place. A few of the amenities though were definitely disappointing. The process of getting the sauna working initially was kind of a pain but eventually worked and was nice. The hot tub was good but the lid was very heavy and hard to open and was also falling apart and needs to be replaced. Pieces of the cover was floating in the hot tub. Lastly, the kitchen was the most disappointing part. I really like to cook and came prepared to make a steak dinner on the stove top and there was not a good frying pan to use. The one non stick pan i eventually found was chipping and did not seem safe. We ultimately just went out to dinner because there was not a good pan to cook with. I would recommend it for sure for the awesome views and seclusion but a few things definitely need to be improved.

This property is a dream come true for those who need a pampered getaway. The swim spa, sauna, steam shower, bidets, etc, make the experience a true luxury. The outdoor dining area is lovely and the ping pong table provided us with hours of entertainment. The light switches could use labels inside, as there are lots of them, but everything else was easy to figure out and the directions were clear for check in/check out. We would love to come back.

This property, it's amenities, and location are all superb! By far the nicest rental we gave stayed in. The host was wonderful and very communicative! We will absolutely be back!

Relaxing Family Weekend

Loved getting away with the family, playing board games and ping pong, hiking, and hanging out down by the river. Some great little restaurants close by as well!

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We loved our stay at the beautiful cabin in the woods right on the Skykomish River. The mountain views are amazing, the amenities are wonderful and we will definitely be back.

Amazing getaway!

This place is amazing! Lots of space, and very comfortable. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. This place would be great for resting after a long day of hiking, rafting, or skiing.

Rainy spa weekend

We had a great time in the house and especially enjoyed the heated swim spa and sauna. We cooked several meals, which the kitchen was well-equipped for, and played a lot of games. Overall a great weekend and would stay there again. Especially in the summer when you can enjoy the huge outdoor space/patio furniture. Also so much ping pong!

My husband and i went for a nice get away. This secluded home in the small town was perfect! We also enjoyed the upgrades in the house that gave us ideas for our home. Thank you for renting us this home ❤️

Gorgeous property

Architecturally beautiful home with everything you could need. The outdoor swim/hot tub was a perfect way to end the day. The views from the large bedroom windows each morning are fantastic. Private. Quiet. Lovely. Wish we’d had more time to enjoy.

A slice of heaven

This property is amazing! Tucked away, modern, and surrounded by nature. You can hear the river while enjoying the patio. We even had deer great us right to the front door window! I would recommend this place and then drive to Seattle for the day, but honestly lots to do outside of Seattle. Don had great communication! Thank you!

Blissful River & Nature Retreat

We loved Don & Emma's beautiful cabin! The design of the cabin, with a separate area downstairs (reached by an exterior stairway only) with second bedroom, sleep sofa, large smart tv and bathroom was private and perfect for us. And our son and his wife enjoyed the luxurious master bedroom, bath and forest views on the main level. The well appointed kitchen was perfect for preparing family meals, as was the outdoor kitchen. Perhaps next time we will make use of the inviting heated swim spa and sauna. We highly recommend this property! Thank you again, Don & Emma!

Cabin not as expected.

The property and cabin were wonderful! Had this cabin been the true two bedroom expected and a little better customer service, a much higher rating would have been given. With that being said, the listing for the cabin is a bit misleading. We were under the impression this was a two bedroom cabin, instead this was more of a one bedroom cabin with a separate basement suite with two separate entrances. There is no access to the second bedroom and living room with sleeper futon from inside the main ground level. You must go outside and down into a basement area to access the second bedroom, living room, and additional sleeping spaces. Unfortunately due to the second bedroom being completely separate we were unable to utilize this bedroom or any additional sleeping spaces which was very frustrating since we needed two bedrooms. Had there been only two of us or even a larger party that would like a little separation this property would have been great, however that was not the case for our stay. We attempted to contact both individuals left in the contact instructions and left messages, we never received a return call. Days after our stay was over we received an accidental call that hung up. We returned the call and were told we were dialed my mistake, had this not have happened we would have clearly not received a call. We had a short conversation, were told they would let the property management know our concerns, the listing may need to be adjusted, and someone from the management company would reach out to us in the next day or so. We have not heard from anyone since.
