We hebben een prima week gehad in het prachtige Helmsdal. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien en heerlijk rustig gelegen. Contact met de eigenaar was prima en vlot en we hebben de nodige hikes kunnen doen

Das Haus ist sehr gut gelegen und super ausgestattet, auch mit Hunden perfekt. Küche etwas klein mit 9 Erwachsenen und insgesamt sehr hellhörig.Gegend ist super zum Wandern. Vermieter sehr nett und hilfreich. Danke!

Everything went very well, I can fully recommend this place. The cabin itself is very beautiful, placed on a nice hill. The kitchen had everything you need. The contact with the host was always quick and kind. And the surroundings were great, too, we went climbing, cycling, and enjouying the nature!

Top!!! Das Haus war sauber, die Aussicht super, und die Terrasse sehr groß und super ausgerichtet. Im Haus war alles enthalten was benötigt wird :-) Wir haben es genossen. Leider konnte die Sauna entgegen der Beschreibung nicht genußt werden. Lieben Gruß Jan Boll

So enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin! Even prettier than the pictures and well appointed with everything we needed. Great location with multiple hiking areas, beautiful waterfalls, stave churches and everything you need nearby. Host was responsive and gracious. Would definitely recommend without hesitation!

De woning in nette staat aangetroffen, via google maps makkelijk te vinden. Hoewel er directe buren zijn is de ligging van de woning (en terras) zo dat je daar weinig van merkt. Wij zijn in eind augustus geweest en dan is er in de regio nog van alles te doen, ook met tieners. In totaal zijn er 14 slaapplaatsen verdeeld over 5 slaapkamers, 2 boven en 3 beneden. Beneden bevinden zich ook de 2 badkamers waarvan er 1 een (zit)sauna heeft. Op de bovenverdieping is nog een soort van mini-huiskamer met een bankje en tv. De bedden zijn op zich prima, maar wel voorzien van hoofd/voetbord, dus voor wat langere mensen niet ideaal. De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien, ruime huiskamer met goede tv, keuken met moderne apparatuur. En ook erg fijn; een ruime veranda/terras met comfortabele stoelen en een grote picknicktafel. Ook is er een verrijdbare vuurschaal met grillrooster, dus barbecueën of een gezellig vuurtje zijn een optie. Als het regent kun je met een paar man onder het uitstekende deel van het dak zitten, zeker als de wind goed staat. Hoewel de woning 14 slaapplaatsen telt, zou ik niet adviseren om er met 14 personen te verblijven, alle andere voorzieningen zijn toch echt meer voor max 8 personen bedoeld. Dus een groot gezin, of 2 gezinnen samen zou op zich best kunnen, maar meer wordt echt wat krap. Wij waren met 4 personen en hadden dus alle ruimte. Communicatie met de eigenaar gaat super, meestal antwoordt hij binnen een paar uur al; erg prettig! Hoewel Hemsedal vooral een wintersportplaats lijkt te zijn is er in de zomer van alles te doen. Zo is er een klimpark, kun je mountainbikes huren, mountain karten, sledehondentocht etc. Vissers kunnen er ook hun hart ophalen, hoewel dit door de lage waterstand van afgelopen zomer lang niet overal mocht en er ook weinig vis zat. Er zijn ook diverse wandelroutes in de directe omgeving, maar hou er door de sterke hoogteverschillen rekening mee dat deze redelijk pittig zijn. De paden worden best goed aangegeven met markeringen op bomen. Wel handig om in de gaten te houden is dat een route vaak niet een rondje is, maar heen en weer op hetzelfde pad. Als je niet oplet blijf je de markeringen volgen tot je een ons weegt.. Een kaart meenemen kan ook geen kwaad, alle routes zijn met dezelfde kleur gemarkeerd, dus het is wel zaak om zelf in de gaten te houden waar je je bevindt. Al met al een hele mooie, goed verzorgde en vrij nieuwe woning in een erg mooie omgeving! Zeker een aanrader!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. We were only four so had a lot of place for us. Theoretically it could accomodate up to 14 persons, but I imagine it would be rather crowded, up to 11 persons in two families fit very good, also considering that there are two bathrooms. The cabin is well equipped and nicely furnished. It was not that easy to find it in the beginning as the vacation village where is situated is a small labyrinth, but Google helps. The communication with Oyvind over e-mail run very smoothly. If the opportunity arises, we would definetly come back and bring some frinds as well. All in all a great place to stay in Hemsedal.

Gemütliche, sehr gepflegte Hütte, in der es an nichts fehlt. Bestens geeignet zum Relaxen. Hemsedal ist im Sommer hervorragend zum Wandern geeignet, es gibt viel zu erleben, traumhafte Natur und zusätzlich eine sehr gute Infrastruktur.

Flott beliggenhet mellom Hemsedal og Gol. Mange turmuligheter og aktiviteter, eller bare slappe av på terassen og se på golferne like ved. Kommer gjerne tilbake ved en annen anledning. Hytten hadde alt utstyr som trengtes 👍👍

Really nice place to stay in the summer. There is a good view to both mountains with snow and the golf course. Many activities in the area and if you like golf it is perfect also in the evening where the Sun sets late. A minor issue for us were the beds. A little too soft and a little too short in the “parents bedroom” downstairs since we are quite tall.

Vi hadde et fint oppholdt i hytten. Hytten fremstår som moderne. Godt vedlikeholdt og veldig god plass. 2 bad som er veldig praktisk. God plassering i hytttefelt, men samtidig lite innsyn. Bra med utsikt mot golfbanen. Godt med kjøkkenutstyr. God beliggenhet ift butikk. Utleier (Øyvind) svarte raskt på meldinger, veldig god service og ikke minst hjelpsom. Anbefales! Leier gjerne hos Øyvind igjen dersom vi skal til Gol/Hemsedal området igjen! :)

Nach 2017 waren wir das zweite Mal in diesem urgemütlichen Haus. Die Lage ist perfekt als Ausgangsbasis für ausgedehnte Wanderungen. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und besticht damit, gerade keinen „Ikea-Charme“ auszustrahlen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und denken, dass es nicht unser letzter Urlaub im Hemsedal war.

Rundum ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Die Hütte ist ruhig gelegen. Gelegentlich hört man den Verkehr auf der Straße 52, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Die Golfer an Loch 7 stören in keinster Weise und haben oft zur Belustigung beigtragen. Die Hytte ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns haben lediglich ein Wasserkocher und Espressotassen gefehlt. Die Kaffemaschine ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, tut aber das was sie soll. Das ist aber jammern auf hohem Niveau. Die Wandermöglichkeiten am Panoramaweg (10 Minuten mit dem Auto) sind fast unbegrenzt. Für den kurzen Spaziergang zwischendurch reichen die Wege auf dem Golfplatz. Einkaufsmölichkeiten sind gut erreichbar (10 km bis zum Kiwi-Markt bei Hemsedal. Weitere Möglichkeiten befinden sind in Hemsedal und Gol. Kurz um ein feiner Urlaub in einer feinen Hütte ... jederzeit wieder gerne.

A lovely cabin, with a high standard. Well equiped kitchen, nice beds and a very gentle host. The sitting sauna is great too. The cabin is in the middle of the alpin golf court and that's nice to watch but doesn't give any privacy or noise issues at all. The surroundings are great and we spotted around 10 elks within a km from the cabin, next to the road to Hemsedal. There is a quite big Kiwi supermarket within a 10 minute drive, with a broad assortment. We really enjoyed our stay.

My family and I (four in total) stayed in this lovely cabin, during July 2018. The cabin is great and we needed nothing during our stay. We enjoyed both hiking, golfing and fishing around the area. I would warmly recommend this place to anyone, for either summer or winter holidays. If I am to point out anything, it would be that the general cabin-area (probably 50 cabins situated rather close to each other) is very sterile, as it is still very new and has not been "worn-in". This makes it feel a bit touristy and less country-side Norwegian :-) However, this cabin is on the outer perimeter of the area, which provides a bit of privacy. We'll definitely revisit if we are ever in the area again. Thanks for a wonderful stay !

Vi har hatt fem strålande dagar her i hytta, storfamilie, 3 generasjonar, 10 personar. Sol frå klar himmel heile tida og fine turar til fleire turmål. Hytta fungerte kjempeflott for oss. God plass for store og små. Veldig kjekt ned leikestove/TVstove for barna oppe. Svært hyggeleg vert som reagerte umiddelbart på spørsmål om hjelp. Vi kjem gjerne tilbake ein annan gong. Takk for oss.
