"Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. "This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. "This property is neat and tidy. My family had a great time. A lot of wildlife to see. The solar lights and screened in eating area really made the nights so much better with the fire ban. We could still enjoy the outside and played games. The lake is so clean - we had little fish nibbling our ankles! Too weedy for us for swimming, but we all dipped in! Lounging and looking at the water was really peaceful. No complaints! Super private. Great hosts."

"This was a great space and perfect for our needs. The yurt was comfortable and the fire pit was great. Really awesome to have a nice table and grill and the hammock was comfortable. Good lights and drinkable water were plentiful. Will be back!"

"Had an incredible two-night getaway with my wife! The cottage is very nice and clean with everything you need for an off-grid stay! The lake was very quiet and the floating dock was great for swimming. The standup paddle boards were a lot of fun to use! Westport is a nice little town near by if you need to pick anything up. Highly recommend this cottage rental and would book again in the future!"

"We were not there much because we had a family wedding on Saturday, but we did enjoy the peacefulness and the view of the lake as well as a well supplied cottage my only complaint was the coffee pot. It needs to have some vinegar run through it because it’s quite clogged up and took forever to make coffee other than that. Everything was great."

"The stone cottage had a nice view of the lake, a fire pit, big tables for games and meals with family. Very relaxing and quiet. The loons on the lake were close by--loved their calls to each other! It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. If you have little children, the outdoor patio has a drop off that you would need to use caution with. We would definitly recommend this place. "
