This is a wonderful property in a cute neighborhood close many of Glenwood's attractions. You can tell this home is loved. The owner seems great. This home is a couple of blocks from the grocery store and a very short drive from downtown and the hot springs. The house has a good layout with indoor and outdoor space to be together or have a minute alone. We felt very welcomed and would stay here again.

Stunning property with everything and more that you need. Beautifully cultivated yard with multiple patios and view of such. Easy walking distance to downtown and grocery store. Would definitely stay again!

What a beautiful home that fit our needs perfectly. The home had everything needed to fix meals and enjoy eating out on the patio. We enjoyed the court yard in the evening. Beautiful plants all around. Very quiet neighborhood. Great location to Hot Springs pool, 5 minute walk to grocery store and a nice stroll downtown for dinner. We are planning to be back next summer. Thank you for sharing your home.

Nice house in good location

We (3 adults and 2 children) overall enjoyed our stay at the house. We found the location to be very central and close if not walking distance to most restaurants. The outside space was also very enjoyable with a nice sitting area. The house was very clean and taken care of plus had more than sufficient cooling. Things to note that could use improvement...1. One of the rooms to have a Queen or King sized bed. Not the most comfortable to have two adults in a Full, the rooms were large enough to accommodate. 2. Shower situation was difficult with the shower being downstairs and in the bonus room above the garage only. This was hard with the two most accessible rooms having only a bath NOT a shower. 3. As most old houses are there were definitely "quirks" with the home. The most notable was the lean of the two main bedrooms. The doors leaned, the bed leaned (my husband rolled right off) and basically you felt like you were on a slide. Obviously not of the owners fault but there could have been ways to move the furniture so the slant wasn't so aggressive as you were sleeping. All in all we would still recommend the house. We have stayed in many VRBO's in Glenwood and we would definitely rate this as a 3.5-4 stars overall. It would have just been nice to know some of the "cons" going into the stay.

Charming house

Comfortable and clean. Great location. Enjoyed the gas fireplaces for ambience as well as drying out wet winter gear. Wife loved how the house was decorated. Would definitely stay again!

Convenient location , comfortable home

Comfortable, clean, and within walking distance to downtown Glenwood Springs restaurants and hot springs. Our group of 5 had a great stay! Other review comments very helpful to read ahead of time , noting that shower for main floor guests is in adjacent unit above garage. Plenty of plates, cups, utensils in kitchen. Modern furnishings. Beautiful fall colors!

Swiss Family Rathgebs

This property was divine, peaceful, and totally as described. It is so spacious that each person can find a breath of fresh air and serenity. It is within walking distance of the center of town and two blocks from the market. Dining in the outdoor space was a joy, including the little black-and-white friendly kitty. Much to our excitement and fun, we were treated to a baby bear cub and mom one evening in the yard. It was not a threat but a thrill to see FROM A DISTANCE, of course. We highly recommend it and wish we had booked more than three nights.

Great lication and outdoor seating!

It was almost perfect for our group. A major drawback is the lack of a shower in the main floor bath & it would be great if the bonus room had a bed or a hide-a-bed. But 15 min walk to town, great and comfortable house with outside seating! A blick frim Doc Holuday Trail.

Great Time in Glenwood Springs

This was a perfect landing spot for the activities in and around town. Close enough to walk to downtown (uphill coming back), but the garage on 9th and Cooper is free and convenient if you want to drive down. The house was clean and we'll kept, and once we figured out the swamp cooler, it started comfortable. The bathroom downstairs is a bit tight, but convenient for the bedroom. Overall, we enjoyed the home and the outdoor spaces.

Great little home in glenwood springs!

What a gem! Super clean and well appointed home. Beautiful landscaping. We were a little worried when we arrived that the distance to walk to town was too much but we managed it several times (ages 21-80!). Also highly recommend the nearby hike to Doc Holliday’s grave. There are some quirks with the home - heaters “leak” hot air even when off (a bit annoying when it’s so hot outside) and the two bed room was almost too hot to sleep in….(even with the swamp cooler running and a fan we purchased upon arrival). The bath room situation could be difficult for some - the main floor bath is only a tub (no shower), with a nice shower in the upper room above the garage space and a bit cramped bath on the lower level. But the quirks didn't dampen our family vacation and we would return!

Wonderfully located property

Loved how close this property was located to pretty much everything you need in Glenwood Springs. Everything was clean, cute, and the attention to detail was evident. The outdoor landscaping was phenomenal and we want to give kudos to the gardener(s). Our only complaint, which others have included in their reviews, is that the shower situation is so awkward and inconvenient.

Blake House Super For Small Group

Lovely home, great location, super fun outdoor arbor for morning coffee and 5 o’clock happy hour. Nice walk downtown. Don’t know about the basement room but upstairs beds were comfy.

Best location

Our favorite place to stay in Glenwood. Set up is nice and you can get anywhere from this home. Especially love the outdoor porch sitting area.

5+ STAR Rating!

Our stay was perfect!! We had our children and their spouses w/us for family ski getaway. This location was easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. It was a great space for 3 couples and close to everything we wanted to do. It was also a great place to sit outside with glass of jibe. The owners were so helpful with answering all our questions. DEFINITELY a 5+ star rating!!!

Great girls weekend

42 year high school reunion with a few of us girlfriends! So fun catching up with all the years gone by! The house was perfectly updated & so cozy with the warm fireplace. The modern kitchen had everything we needed and accommodations were perfect. House was in a great location within walking distance of downtown GS. Would definitely stay here again !

Glenwood Springs retreat

Home was beautifully renovated, well equipped with quality appliances and everything we could have possibly needed. Location was within walking distance to downtown yet in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent property in every way.

Our stay in Glenwood

The property was clean and had nice, areas you could sit outside. Beautiful flowers to enjoy. Downsides were not enough light through out especially in the bedrooms and dinning room, no lock on the upstairs bathroom door, and the parking was a little challenging since we had a full size truck. We had a good time.

Heads up! Beware!

The best bathroom on the property is in a separate building from main house and it has NO LOCK! Plus the master bath has only a tub in it (no shower) yet no drain plug was supplied so it was impossible to take a bath. The two bedrooms and living room in the main house were freezing! The description said there was no AC so we lugged three big fans we didn't need. All this was frustrating.
